But walking through those cobblestone streets to get there, you realize this place actually gets what travelers want when they’re exploring Tallinn’s medieval quarter. The building itself has that authentic Baltic charm without feeling like a museum you’re sleeping in, if you know what I mean.
What really struck me was how they’ve managed to give you that apartment feel while still maintaining hotel-level service. The suites are genuinely spacious – and I mean actually spacious, not “European spacious” where you’re bumping into furniture every five minutes. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in Old Town every meal can get pretty pricey. There’s something satisfying about picking up some local cheese and bread from the market and having your morning coffee while looking out at those red-tiled roofs. The WiFi actually works well too, which matters more than people admit when you’re trying to research day trips or stay in touch with home.
The location is sort of perfect in that sneaky way where you’re close enough to everything that matters but not right on top of the tourist chaos. You can walk to Toompea Castle in maybe ten minutes, and the Town Hall Square is even closer, but you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with those massive cruise ship crowds right outside your window at 7 AM. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and honestly, the atmosphere was incredible – fewer tourists, crisp autumn air, and you could actually hear the church bells in the morning instead of tour groups. The staff seems to genuinely know the area well too, not just the obvious attractions but little things like which café has the best kohuke or when the local markets are worth visiting. With a 9.2 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get why people keep coming back to this place.

Exceptional The accommodation was in a great location, walking distance to the centre, restaurants and cafes and the historical centre. Spacious apartment in the heart of the old city. We were in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor (there is a lift). The apartment was very spacious and light with big windows, and there are two modern bathrooms. The beds were comfy and there was air conditioning in the apartment. The kitchen was quite well equipped with dishwasher, hob and oven. The location is great - in the heart of the old town yet close to public transport, restaurants etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
