LuxeCityApartment Overview
So I stumbled upon LuxeCityApartment on Reimani Street last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. You know how Tallinn’s Old Town gets all the attention – and deservedly so – but this spot sits just perfectly on the edge where the medieval charm meets actual, livable city life. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Viru Square, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds stumbling past your window at 7 AM.
What really got me was how thoughtfully put together everything felt. The apartment itself has this clean, Nordic aesthetic that doesn’t try too hard – you know what I mean? Like someone actually lives there instead of it being some sterile hotel room with generic art. The kitchen was properly equipped (I’m talking real knives and a coffee maker that doesn’t hate you), which was perfect because Tallinn’s food scene is amazing but your wallet appreciates the option to grab groceries at the Rimi down the street. The bed was honestly fantastic – firm but not like sleeping on concrete – and the blackout curtains are a godsend during those endless summer nights when the sun barely sets. Actually, the whole building is surprisingly quiet considering you’re right in the city center. I was worried about street noise, but Reimani is more of a local thoroughfare than a party zone.
Here’s the thing that really sealed it for me – the location is just smart. You’ve got the tram stop at Viru right there, so getting to Kadriorg Park or the beach at Pirita takes maybe fifteen minutes. But if you want to wander into the cobblestone maze of the Old Town, you just walk down the hill and boom, you’re at the city walls. Plus, and this might sound silly, but there’s a proper grocery store nearby (not just touristy convenience shops), a decent pharmacy, and even a little café where locals actually go for morning coffee. The host was refreshingly straightforward during check-in – no overly enthusiastic tourism pitch, just practical info about wifi passwords and where to find extra towels. They did mention that the building’s entrance can be a bit tricky to spot at first (it’s true, look for the small number plaque), but once you figure it out, you feel like you’re in on a secret. The 9.6 rating makes total sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be everything to everyone, just really, really good at being a comfortable, well-located place to stay while you explore one of Europe’s most underrated capitals.

What could be improved: Just a small recommendation – The lock to the toilet door needs to be looked at, it wasn't locking properly, kept getting stuck.Greatly exceeded expectations – Denys from Estonia – July 9, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment looks stylish and awesome. It includes everything you can think of and even more!
We were greeted with champagne and a table fully prepared for dinner. So if you want to order food, you won't need to spend even a second on serving the table, which is a really nice touch. It was perfect❤️ – Kätlin from Estonia – March 18, 2025 (10/10)
