First Impressions
The Family apartment with balcony and free parking sits right in the heart of Tallinn‘s Old Town area, and honestly, the location caught me off guard in the best way possible. This four-star property doesn’t try to be flashy — it’s more about giving you a proper base to explore one of Europe’s most charming medieval cities. The building itself has that understated Estonian elegance, and you know what really sold me? Walking up and seeing actual parking spaces right there on-site. In a city center like this, that’s basically gold.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels genuinely homey rather than hotel-sterile, which I appreciated after weeks of cookie-cutter accommodations. You get a proper living area that flows naturally into a compact but well-equipped kitchen — perfect for those mornings when you want coffee without hunting down a café. The room setup works well for couples (apparently they rate it quite highly), though families would find the space comfortable too. That balcony they mention? It’s not huge, but it gives you just enough outdoor space to have your morning coffee while watching Tallinn wake up below.
Location Perks
Being on Lastekodu tänav puts you within easy walking distance of pretty much everything that matters in Tallinn’s city center. I mean, you’re talking about a five-minute stroll to the medieval walls and maybe ten minutes to Toompea Hill — that’s where all those postcard shots come from. The restaurant scene around here is fantastic too, with everything from traditional Estonian spots to modern Nordic cuisine within a few blocks. What I really liked was how quiet the street stays at night, despite being so central.
Practical Considerations
The free parking situation deserves another mention because it’s genuinely rare in this part of town — most places either charge a fortune or make you park somewhere inconvenient and walk. The apartment comes with all the basics you’d expect, plus little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The spa and wellness options in the immediate area are solid if you’re looking to unwind after walking those cobblestone streets all day (trust me, your feet will thank you).
Why Guests Love It
That 8.5 location rating from recent guests makes total sense once you’ve stayed here — you really can walk everywhere, but you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos of the main tourist drags. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the setup, probably because you get that cozy apartment feel without sacrificing the convenience of being right in the action. It’s one of those places where you can actually picture yourself living for a week or two, not just crashing between sightseeing sessions. The value proposition works well too — you’re getting prime real estate without the premium prices of the fancier hotels nearby.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Tallinn through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s medieval heritage and modern innovation.

Exceptional
Very Good Very beautiful and spacious appartment, great location, has multiple terraces and balconies.
What could be improved: 100 eur safety deposit has to be transferred after booking. Was returned quickly after the stay, but I think this should be pointed out in bold before booking.
The parking was not accessable at the moment we arrived, as all block was dug up and active roadworks were happening. I called the host ask location of alternatives how to access the building and the promised navigation link was never sent and eventually noone picked up and never called back.
Pettunud Asukoht
What could be improved: Lubatud tasuta parkiniskohta ei olnud, kuna puudu oli maa aluse parkla pult ning lisaks oli korteri juurde kuuluv parkimiskoht hõivarud teise auto poolt.
Exceptional Sijainti, huoneiden määrä, siisteys. Riittävästi kaikkea keittiössä. Erityisen rauhallinen talo.
