Like Home Apartments Salme 31 Overview
I’ll be honest – Like Home Apartments Salme 31 caught me off guard in the best possible way. You know how apartment-style hotels can feel a bit sterile, like someone just threw some IKEA furniture into a box and called it a day? Well, this place actually lives up to its name. The moment I walked into my unit, I got that “oh, this feels right” sensation you rarely experience when you’re staying somewhere temporary.
The apartments here have this lived-in quality that’s hard to fake – I mean, the kitchen actually has proper coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones that barely hold a sip), and there’s real counter space where you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris. The beds are honestly some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in this price range, and trust me, I’m picky about mattresses. What really sold me though was the little details… decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird – but the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone down the hall turns on their hairdryer.
The location works really well if you’re the type who likes to feel connected to how locals actually live, rather than being stuck in some tourist bubble. You’ll find yourself walking past proper neighborhood spots – little cafes where people are clearly regulars, not just Instagram-hunting visitors. The area has that nice residential energy during the day, but it doesn’t get too rowdy at night (I’m looking at you, party districts that sound fun until you’re trying to sleep). Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but honestly, most guests I chatted with were getting around on foot or using public transport anyway. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a night here – it’s one of those places where everything just works without any drama. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that “here’s seventeen different cards and a novel about breakfast times” routine. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re settled, not just processed. If you’re looking for a place where you can actually unpack and feel human for a few days, rather than just crash between tourist activities, this is your spot.
Exploring Tallinn offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Estonia’s digital heart, from its UNESCO-listed medieval old town to its innovative startup ecosystem and stunning Baltic coastline.

Beautiful modern basement apartment with all the amenities in a super neighbourhood. – Jeri from Germany (9/10)
Comfortable, very well appointed apartment. Super location (booking.com overrates this , but it really was excellent. Close to supermarkets, transportation, downtown and restaurants . Free parking immediately in front of the apartment on the street. Not far from the Maritime museum/port. Nice bathroom with good hot water and good pressure. There were quite a few outlets which is helpful.
Relaxing place – Nicolas from France (9/10)
I already knew this area and this year too the place was relaxing, not too noisy with very few traffic, close to the city center, 10 minutes walk from Baltijaam and if you want to have a walk near the sea, 10 minutes too. The appartment was spacious and cosy.
Wonderful – Aino from Spain (9/10)

Great location on a quiet street with a walking distance to e.g. Telliskivi and the sea side. Well equipped, comfy and clean apartment. As the name suggests, a home like atmosphere and nicely decorated. Great instructions from the host and a overall superb stay. A couple of great cafes just around the corner. Can definetley recommend and could see myself booking again in the future.
Exceptional – Diane from United Kingdom (10/10)
The apartment is set in a beautiful street in a lovely area of town; loved walking around looking at the wonderful houses. Close to everything; Old Town is a short walk and really recommend the Maritime Museum.
The accomodation was so comfortable, with everything you need. It really did feel like home, and I was sad to leave. I loved all the little details and it was so cosy to come back to after a day in the snow.
Have already tried to book again for the summer but there's no availability.Wonderful – Lelde from Latvia (9/10)
A comfortable and cosy place in a perfect location for exploring Kalamaja, Telliskivi and Noblessner.
Comfortable accommodations – Nancy from United States of America (9/10)
Nice location – easy walk to the old town but also short walk to the docks. Tasty pastries at the bakery on the corner – we bought some every day of our visit. The heated towel rack was much appreciated since it was rainy during our stay. Kitchen was well equipped.
