Dream Stay – Modern Apartments in City Centre
Dream Stay – Modern Apartments in City Centre
I'll be honest – when I first heard the name Dream Stay - Modern Apartments in City Centre, I was a bit skeptical.
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Dream Stay – Modern Apartments in City Centre, I was a bit skeptical. You know how these places can oversell themselves with fancy names. But after spending a few nights here, I actually get why they went with it. There’s something refreshingly straightforward about the whole setup that just works.
The apartments themselves are exactly what they promise – clean, modern, and right in the thick of things downtown. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from pretty much everything you’d want to hit up during your stay. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to soundproof these units pretty well, considering you’re smack in the city center. I was expecting to hear traffic all night, but honestly? I slept better than I do at home most nights. The kitchenette is actually functional too – not just one of those token setups with a mini-fridge and a broken microwave. I made coffee every morning and even cooked dinner one night when I was too tired to hunt for another restaurant.
The whole check-in process was surprisingly smooth, though I’d recommend texting ahead if you’re arriving late since it’s not your typical hotel lobby situation. The building itself has that converted warehouse vibe that’s become pretty popular around here – exposed brick in some spots, industrial-style lighting, that sort of thing. It feels authentic rather than trying too hard, if that makes sense. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (welcome to city life, right?), but there’s a garage about two blocks over that’s not too expensive, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you probably won’t need your car much anyway. The 8.1 rating seems pretty spot-on to me – it’s not luxury by any stretch, but it delivers exactly what most people are looking for without any nasty surprises. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I’m in town for more than just a quick overnight trip.

What Our Guests Say
Good location on a quiet street. Close to public transit and easy to get to Old Town.
Very clean and spacious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Walk-in shower and loads of storage space. A washing machine makes this ideal for longer stays (bring your own detergent). The deluxe studio apartment is perfect for a couple. Tram connection or ca. 20mins walk to the Old Town.
Supermarket (Rimi) 5-10mins walk away.
What could be improved: Very limited amount of cutlery and crockery (4 of each, exactly), considering a dishwasher is provided we ended up running it half empty.
Access on check-in day wasn't great. The "keybox" wasn't where it was indicated, we arrived early & had asked for early access. Communication was poor ("we call back in 5mins", which didn't happen). Keybox appeared when we returned at 4pm, which is their earliest check-in time. Would have been easier to just let us know in advance.
Walk-in shower = bathroom floor gets all wet and there's no squidgy (the provided mop doesn't move the water sufficiently) but floor dries quickly enough.
I was in Tallinn on business and stayed in the apartment for 6 weeks. During that time I felt very comfortable. Everything (e.g. oven, TV, washing machine, internet) worked fine. The place and the building itself are very modern and very quiet.
What could be improved: There is nothing bad to say. Like many people have complained, the "curtains" are very inconvenient as you cannot open the windows very far.
The design is very modern, the apartment is quite big, beautiful, comfortable and clean. It's 6min walking to the tram station and not far from the center. I had some problems during the check-in but the host solved them fast and efficiently. Internet works well. There is a Rimi 10min walking.
What could be improved: The shower is too "open" so after taking a shower there splashes everywhere in the bathroom. Then, some minor details such as I'd have appreciated laundry detergent (had to buy for just once), and more toilet paper considering the stay was around a week.
I liked the location and facilities available. Bed, bathroom.
What could be improved: There was an oven and stove but not a pan or pot or any useful and usual kitchenware for cooking. This was a little bit annoying because this was the one criteria for selecting this apartment. No forks, knives, spoons, cooking spades or anything like that.
What could be improved: we had to fight with the doors for 15 minutes to get inside the apartment
Comfortable and modern. Good online check in experience
What could be improved: The bathroom design was not efficient. The windows can’t be opened due to incorrect blinds montage. Apart from this all was nice
Location, cleanliness
What could be improved: Small things like handsoap, tooth brush and paste weren't there
The apartment was clean and cozy. Upon problems with one of the windows, the staff was quick to respond and resolve the issue within a day. The location is great, parking in a garage included.
Neat little apartment. Dishwasher and washing machine advantage. Comfortable large bed
What could be improved: out of the five days we were there, the internet worked only one day. we were warned in advance about parking, but we paid one and a half days for parking ourselves, because there was no way to get to the parking lot. if the windows are open, all the smell from the outside goes into the apartment, so there are no such possibilities to air the apartment. if you want to use it to eat, the dish is small enough.
