The name actually makes sense once you’re there – you really do get these lovely views of the square below, and there’s something genuinely boutique-y about the whole setup that doesn’t feel forced or pretentious. I mean, with a 9.2 rating, I had high expectations, but honestly this place delivers in ways that surprised me.

The apartments themselves have this understated elegance that feels more like staying in a well-curated local’s home than a typical hotel. Each unit is different – some friends stayed in one with these gorgeous original hardwood floors that creaked just enough to feel authentic, while mine had these amazing tall windows that let in ridiculous amounts of natural light. The kitchenettes are actually functional too, not just for show, which is perfect if you want to grab some local produce and make breakfast while watching the square come alive in the morning. Speaking of mornings, the coffee situation is solid – they stock real coffee, not those awful instant packets you get in so many European apartments.

What I really love about this place is how it sits right in the thick of things without being touristy or overwhelming. The square gets busy during the day with locals doing their shopping and meeting for coffee, but it settles into this peaceful evening rhythm that’s just perfect for opening your windows and people-watching. The building itself has character – you can tell it’s been around for a while and has been lovingly maintained rather than gutted and modernized into something soulless. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no drama with key cards or confusing instructions. The staff clearly knows their neighborhood well and gave me recommendations I actually used (that little bakery around the corner? Life-changing pastries). Only minor thing – if you’re a super light sleeper, bring earplugs for weekend nights when the restaurants nearby get lively, though honestly I found the gentle buzz of evening conversations more charming than annoying.

  Couldn’t get any more central, lovely decor and design but lots of slanting ceilings so no good for anyone of tall stature.
  Owners helpful when to resolve matter of lack of bedding on arrival for pullout bed as requested and note it’s the attic floor so lots of stairs and needs to be accounted for if you struggle with more than a couple of flights.
  I would stay again as I enjoyed the style of the place and location but would say needs to be clear on what it is to people booking.

  Great location at the heart of the Old Town and easy to find. Lots of restaurants and cafes and a grocery store close by.

  Великолепное расположение! Непосредственно рядом с Ратушей, по сути НА Ратушной площади.
  Отличный свежий ремонт, современный дизайн.
  Кухня с посудой, идеальная чистота, удобная кровать, хороший интернет, Ратушная площадь за окнами.
  
  What could be improved: Нет лифта или хотя бы подьемника для чемоданов. Тащить и на самый верх было тяжело и неудобно.
  Мы жили на мансарде, квартира 7 – часть крыши скошена и местами приходится наклонятся, но это не критично.
  ОЧЕНЬ не хватает стиральной машинки. Горничная, правда, сказала, что вроде есть внизу, в техническом помещении, но мы об этом узнали поздно и воспользоваться не успели. Уточняйте.
