You know what caught me off guard about Romeo Family Uus Apartments? The name sounds a bit quirky – I mean, “Uus” threw me at first – but honestly, this place delivers way beyond what you’d expect from a 3-star setup. I’ve stayed in plenty of apartment-style hotels that feel sterile or half-hearted, but there’s something genuinely thoughtful about how this family runs their operation.
The apartments themselves are spacious in that comfortable European way – not huge by American standards, but smartly laid out so you actually feel like you have room to breathe. What I really appreciated was how they’ve clearly thought about families and longer stays. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and hot plate situation), and there’s enough counter space to actually prepare meals if you want to skip restaurant dining for a night or two. The wifi is solid throughout – I was working from the little dining area most mornings without any issues. Actually, the morning light in these units is pretty lovely, which is one of those small details that makes a difference when you’re there for more than just a quick overnight.
Here’s the thing about family-run places like this – they tend to either nail the personal service aspect or completely miss it, and Romeo Family definitely nails it. Check-in was smooth, they actually remembered my name throughout the stay, and when I had a question about local transport, the person at the front desk gave me the kind of insider tip that saves both time and money. The building itself is quiet, even during what seemed like a busy period when I was there. I’m someone who notices street noise, and I slept well every night. The cleaning service is thorough without being intrusive – they have that balance figured out where your space feels fresh but still yours. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly can make or break a stay when you’re dealing with rental cars and unfamiliar streets. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works the way it should, and that reliability is worth a lot when you’re traveling.

What Our Guests Say
Excellent host and a very equipped house. The location was ideal.
Awesome location, spacious, clean, comfortable.
Spacious and well equipped
What could be improved: Stairs even though only 1 flight of them
In fact, it was amazing! The apartment has everything you need and even more. I do not know what the secret is, but I had a great night's sleep there. The location is perfect, right in the city center. The apartment is clean, cozy and warm. Check-in and check-out were easy and I was contacted immediately after booking.
What could be improved: It happens rarely but I have nothing to say :)
The location is superb, very comfortable apartment and the host Jelena is very kind and helpful. She really treated me like a friend and being a solo traveler this was very comforting.
Very cozy and clean apartment in the old town of Tallinn! Everything is in a 10-15 minute walking distance, so you can reach everything by foot. Jelena the host is very friendly and helpful with any requests, she even welcomed us before check in time and we were able to drop of our luggage.
What could be improved: The apartment is located next to a parking lot, which can get a little bit busy, but latest in the evening/night everything is getting quiet.
The location was exceptional. Even though it was November the apartment was beautifully warm with no need to adjust anything. There was endless immediate hot water for a large corner bath and shower. All facilities, washing machine, refrigerator, TV, kitchen crockery and utensils, were included and were modern and new.
What could be improved: Can't think of a single thing we would have changed.
I have stayed in one of these apartments before, and I was equally pleased this time. The location is excellent, as it is in the Old Town but also close to Kanuti tram stop and public transportation. The apartment was very clean and well supplied.
Great location. Nice normal apartment, nothing luxurious but everything what I would need during my stay. Full kitchen with equipments, washing machine etc. Easy to pick up keys. WiFi was working great and no problems to do remote work from there. Less than minute to go and visit Reval Spa saunas and pools.
I actually didn't end up staying in this apartment, because there was a water issue, however the hosts gave me another accommodation and was amazing :)
