I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Dream Stay – Scandic Design Apartment, I was expecting something a bit more polished than what I found. Don’t get me wrong, this 3-star spot has its charm, but it’s more “cozy Scandinavian-inspired” than “pristine Nordic showroom.” The design elements are definitely there – you know, those clean lines, light woods, and neutral tones that scream hygiene and minimalism – but there’s something refreshingly lived-in about the place that actually made me feel more at home than intimidated.
The apartment itself is thoughtfully laid out, and whoever designed it clearly understood that travelers need actual space to spread out their stuff (thank god, because I’m terrible at living out of a suitcase). The kitchen area is surprisingly well-equipped – I mean, you’ve got proper knives and decent cookware, not the usual dull butter knives and scratched-up pans you find in most places. The bathroom has this fantastic rainfall showerhead that honestly made my morning routine feel a bit more luxurious than it had any right to. What really got me though was the lighting – they’ve nailed that warm, ambient glow that makes you want to curl up with a book instead of scrolling your phone all evening.
Now, with an 8.5 rating, you’d expect things to run pretty smoothly, and for the most part they do. Check-in was straightforward, though I did have to wait about ten minutes because apparently the previous guest had locked themselves out and needed help (these things happen, right?). The neighborhood is pretty quiet – I’m talking proper sleep-through-the-night quiet, which is gold when you’re dealing with jet lag. Parking wasn’t an issue when I visited, but I get the sense that might change during peak season. The Wi-Fi actually works well enough for video calls, which, let’s face it, is half the battle these days. My only real gripe is that the coffee situation is a bit basic – they’ve got a standard drip machine, but if you’re particular about your morning brew, you might want to scout out a local café. Still, for the price point and that solid rating, you’re getting genuine Scandinavian design sensibility without the premium price tag, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Apartments in Tallinn provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Estonian markets and cook with fresh Nordic specialties.

What Our Guests Say
The host listened to our request and made the sofa bed up for one of us prior to arrival, I was very very impressed by this!
The apartment is in an amazing location and is very central close by to the supermarket, amenities, tram line and bus lines.
It is literally only a short walk to the old town.
The apartment is very clean and modern, such a hidden gem in the city.
The apartment has dishwashing facilities which is a nice surprise to not have to wash up when on a trip.
It's in the back of a busy, noisy street, but you can't hear anything from the apartment, it is very quiet. The bed is comfortable. The coffee machine was not working and the host was very helpful, sent someone to look at it very quickly.
What could be improved: It could have been cleaner, in the bathroom there was a big spider web hanging on the ceiling, and under the window there were a few dead insects.
Good location, big space and separate room.
Convenient ground level for moving around
What could be improved: Checking in procedures. Need to filled up and upload personal documents to access check in procedures. Also a security deposits direct to hi host which can I felt could have done through booking . Com. As we are on the move we got much difficulty to do the check in procedures with cold weather.
All is good :)
Good apartment with all required necessities, perfect location to visit Tallinn - walkable distance to the city center and convenient public transport to all places we wanted to go.
The location was great. The flat is in a nice quiet area despite of being located by one of the busiest streets of Tallinn. It offers many accessories and facilities, even a scale.
What could be improved: Some furniture (like the table in the bedroom) seemed a bit worn out. The picture above the bed is unstable, seems like it easily fall on the head. Perhaps it would be good to change or fix it. TV doesn't offer Estonian channels, just Netflix or YT. It would be nice to chill and watch some Estonian TV after an active day.
Cozy apartament, where you can find everything you might need. Perfect choice for 10 days work trip. Great location.
Everything I needed was there even a weight scale. Location was central to everything very comfortable beds, and lots of places to put clothing very roomy.
Dream Stay normally offers apartments in good condition. This was my 2nd time I reserved their apartment and was satisfied. They are very responsible and if something is missing they solve immediately. Apartment itself has good location, just 7-10 minutes walk from old city, 5min walk from Nordika shopping centre and seaport.
What could be improved: Some furniture a bit old
