I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Poska Villa Guesthouse, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It’s one of those places that doesn’t scream for attention from the street, but once you step inside, you realize that’s actually part of its charm. The whole vibe feels more like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s house than a typical hotel, which I mean in the best possible way.
The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – you know what I mean? Nothing’s trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect, but everything works exactly as it should. I particularly loved how quiet it gets in the evenings; you can actually hear yourself think, which is becoming rarer these days. The staff runs the place with this easy efficiency that makes you feel like they genuinely want you to have a good time rather than just get through their checklist. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no long speeches about amenities I’ll never use.
What really won me over was the attention to those little details that most places overlook. Fresh towels that actually smell fresh (not like industrial detergent), decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound silly – but the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the building. I’ve stayed at fancier places where I had to sit in the lobby to answer emails, so trust me, this matters. The breakfast setup is pretty solid too, though don’t expect anything too elaborate. It’s more about quality than variety, and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want. There’s also plenty of parking space, which might not sound exciting until you’ve spent twenty minutes circling blocks looking for a spot somewhere else. The location puts you close enough to everything you’d want to explore, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with constant street noise or crowds of tourists stumbling past your window at midnight. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night because, well, why mess with a good thing?
To book a hotel in Tallinn during major Baltic festivals, travelers need early planning as this digital capital draws visitors eager to experience its UNESCO World Heritage old town and cutting-edge technology scene.

What Our Guests Say
Loved it! My stay here made for a wonderful visit in Tallin. It was cozy. The location is in a nice neighborhood with Kadriorg Park not far away and public transportation close by. The shower was warm and had great pressure. Inge was a great hostess and helped me have a wonderful stay. The breakfast were easily worth the additional cost. She provided cold and warm options, surprising me with omelets, crepes, different porridges throughout my stay, tasty salads, cheese toasts, ect. It was wonderful! I’d easily go back.
Exceptional It is a lovely place, everything is quite small, but very tidy and it has a great atmosphere - the shower is very confy and the breakfast is clearly made with love. It is less than 15 min from the University!
Good breakfast. Nice staff. Classic Tallinn wooden house. Nice wooden house with good atmosphere. Timeless interiours and friendly staff.
A very nice little room in a very quaint guesthouse It was a perfect guesthouse, cute little room like the photo, someone was right there for checking and checkout, the window opened into a lovely courtyard, and it was very quiet.
Exceptional I really liked the service, decor, amenities, location and quaintness of the entire place. Will definitely visit again.

Exceptional Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
Lovely stay in beautiful setting Poska Villa Guest house is located It is in a quiet suburb of Tallin. It is close to Kardriorg park and 30 minute walk into town although we used the buses as they were frequent and inexpensive. There were various hostesses all of whom were very kind and helpful and we had three delicious breakfasts. Something different every day. Bathroom excellent.
A peaceful stay in Tallinn We stayed at Poska Villa for a couple of nights, and we enjoyed pretty much everything about it. The location is perfect, with the beautiful Kadriorg Park just around the corner and the city centre and Old Town not too far away.
There's plenty of space to park your car, the rooms are nice and tidy, and the staff is very friendly. I think that the price is very appropriate for what you get.
Wonderful Great location, a beautiful villa and lovely stuff
