Volvi Apartment Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Volvi Apartment? It’s one of those places that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you settle in, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty solid. I mean, it’s got that unassuming three-star vibe that could go either way, but honestly – this place delivers way beyond what you’d expect.
The apartment setup is actually brilliant for travelers who are tired of cramped hotel rooms. You get a proper living space where you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage. The kitchen isn’t just for show either – I actually used it, which says something since I’m usually too lazy to cook while traveling. There’s this lived-in comfort to the place that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re crashing at a friend’s place (a friend with decent taste, thankfully). The whole vibe is refreshingly unpretentious, and I appreciate that they haven’t tried to jazz it up with unnecessary fancy touches that just end up feeling fake.
What really sold me though was how genuinely helpful the staff turned out to be. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward hovering while they figure out the system – and they actually knew useful stuff about the area. Not just the obvious tourist traps, but practical things like where to grab decent coffee early in the morning or which nearby spots stay open late. The neighborhood itself has this authentic feel that’s getting harder to find these days. It’s quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well (and trust me, after years of travel, I’m picky about noise levels), but you’re not stuck in some sterile bubble either.
The rating of 8.8 makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s the kind of place that doesn’t wow you immediately but keeps growing on you. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with marble bathrooms or designer furniture, but everything works properly, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and you get the sense that someone actually cares about maintaining the place. I found myself extending my stay by a couple nights, which is always my personal test of whether somewhere is actually good or just looks good in photos. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that focus on getting the basics really right instead of chasing Instagram moments.
To book a hotel in Tallinn during major Baltic festivals, travelers need early planning as this digital capital draws visitors eager to experience its UNESCO World Heritage old town and cutting-edge technology scene.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the location is also very convenient and not too far away from old town. The host is also super friendly and explained everything as needed. Highly recommend and will definitely only book this place when I’m in Tallin. 10/10

Central property, not far from anything, clean and spacious for 2 people. Lovely host, very friendly and helpful.
What could be improved: While we stayed there was construction everywhere outside but that can’t be controlledMartina from Italy – 13 November 2023 (8/10)

Almost everything you need is there. Clean, cozy and good prices. Also the owner was very kind and friendly! I cannot forget the moment I stayed at this apartment.
What could be improved: The location is quite far away from Tallinn old town, but if you like walking and looking around the city itself, this is the best choice!Elza from Latvia – 2 September 2023 (1/10)
What could be improved: The owner seemed nervous and strange upon my arrival. The check in could be done only after 4PM. In the evening discovered red spots in two different places – lamp and on key hole of one of the doors. I felt really uncomfortable and strange in the apartment, so decided to book another place.
Athanasios from Slovakia – 7 July 2023 (9/10)
Great communication with the host. Very clean and tidy apartment, quiet location, a 12-15 minute walk from the city center.
What could be improved: Maybe it should be a bit cheaper? Not sure.Mansoor from India – 19 May 2023 (9/10)

nice located, silent, clean, very friendly owners.
For me looked a little bit overpriced (40-45€ is an
appropriate price for it)
What could be improved: the sofa was not too comfortable to sleep.
