Clean lady does great job as the place was very clean. Owner tried to make up for the mess he made (more about it later on).
What could be improved: We couldn’t contact owner for hours, even if he said (several times), that he will be on touch all the time. The entrance is very “tricky”, not to say just stupid (you have keys hidden on a TREE lol), so we could not enter the place for hours, being wet, tired and hungry after long travel. After hours of waiting, when I already started to look for another spot (which is not easy there) owner finally contacted us. His English was decent (only decent thigh) so after some time we were able to enter the location.
I am not sure if he is owning the place legally, based on the situation and his behaviour.
Also, the city is overrated and people rather unpleasant. Go to riga instead, it’s day and night.
The location is great 20 minute walk to the old town, also near supermarket. The apartment is clean and have everything you need.
What could be improved: The only disadvantage is that the bed is not for 2 people so one of us ended up sleeping in the couch (which is also bed)

Great kitchen equiment with full set of tea, coffee and even all ingredients to make pancakes - very thoughful host...
What could be improved: Little smaller with not much comfortable couch but it can be replaced ;-) Very small bathroom, but i guess that for the price it was oki ;-)

Comfort: the apartment was warm, spacious and cosy. Near/walking distance to the town centre. Area felt safe.
Host was polite and easy to contact.
What could be improved: First morning I was there, there was a lot of noise at 5am from next door. But otherwise it was fine. Guess it's luck of the draw like anywhere.
Superb apartment ideally situated within a very short walking distance to the centre and with plenty of shops for groceries literally just across the road. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything needed even for a longer stay. A very comfortable bed and absolutely spotless. Parking alongside the building or in a dedicated car park just around the corner is also a huge bonus (don't forget to display the card on your dashboard). The host was super kind and very responsive. The instructions on how to gain access to the apartment were very clear.
What could be improved: Nothing.

Kitchen is with everything you need. Comfortable bed. Private parking. Self-check in. Additional heating. Good location. Supermarket is 5 min away.
What could be improved: It is quite dark in the room, small windows.
