What I loved most was being able to just wander out and stumble onto Raekoja plats in about three minutes, or duck into one of those tiny medieval alleyways that tourists spend hours trying to find. The apartment setup means you’ve got a proper kitchen too, which is clutch when you want to grab some local cheese and bread from the market and just chill instead of doing the restaurant thing every single meal.

Here’s what surprised me – for a 3-star place, they’ve really thought through the details that actually matter. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes (trust me, I had some work calls to handle), and the shower pressure is legitimately good, not that sad European trickle you sometimes get in these old buildings. The whole place feels lived-in but clean, if that makes sense. Like someone’s stylish aunt who actually knows how to decorate decided to rent out her spare place. I will say the stairs are no joke – typical Old Town building situation where you’re definitely getting your cardio in, but that’s just part of the territory when you’re staying inside actual medieval walls. The 8.4 rating honestly feels about right; it’s not trying to be fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises. You’re paying for that unbeatable location and the apartment-style freedom, and you definitely get both. Plus, and this might sound weird, but there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that feels like locals might actually live there too, rather than just another hotel that could be anywhere in the world.

  What could be improved: The apartment is dirty. When we arrived, a guy was 'cleaning' the apartment and asked us for 30 mins late check-in. But we couldn't see anything cleaned. Especially bathroom had years-old stains… Furnitures are too old and everywhere is full of dust. I never recommend!

  Location is perfect, close to everything, and surprisingly quiet. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Communication with the owner is great with easy access.
