When I first walked into Stereo House by Larsen, I honestly wasn't sure what to expect – the name definitely intrigued me, and now I get it.
When I first walked into Stereo House by Larsen, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the name definitely intrigued me, and now I get it. There’s this subtle music theme woven throughout the place that’s actually pretty cool without being cheesy about it. You know what struck me right away? The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that makes you want to just settle in with a coffee and people-watch. The staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re tired from traveling.
What really won me over was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between boutique charm and practical comfort. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully designed – I mean, someone actually considered where you’d plug in your phone and put your suitcase, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are spotless with good water pressure. I appreciated the little touches too, like actually decent coffee in the room and blackout curtains that work. The whole place feels like it was designed by people who travel themselves and know what matters.
Here’s the thing that really impressed me – for a 3-star property, this place punches way above its weight. The common areas have personality, there’s reliable wifi throughout (tested it myself, naturally), and the neighborhood feels safe for evening walks. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, and while there was some energy in the corridors, it never felt chaotic or loud late at night. The front desk folks were genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations too, not just the usual tourist trap suggestions. Honestly, I’ve stayed at places with more stars that left me feeling like just another booking number, but Stereo House has that personal touch that makes you want to come back. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels authentic without sacrificing comfort – and doesn’t break the bank – this is definitely worth considering. Just don’t expect a massive pool or flashy amenities; what you get instead is solid hospitality and a place that actually feels like someone cares about your experience.
Early hotels booking in Tallinn requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s remarkable medieval architecture and vibrant tech scene.

What Our Guests Say
Quiet, stylish and fresh with retro vibes. Loft rooms had all you need, including full size fridge and electric stove. Play room, gym, big kitchen and even laundry room all available.
What could be improved: Lofts bedroom ceiling is extremely low. It’s ok for children.
It is a self-service place. You don't see the staff, but it is just excellent for an introvert like me. There was no breakfast but a stove and utensils in the room so I could cook a simple meal whenever I woke up. It is not near the Old Town but again it is what I wanted. Bonus point for me, the room is on the ground floor so whenever I ordered food through Bolt, it was delivered right to my window.
What could be improved: Nothing really
The accommodation was modern, clean, and cozy. The bed had a rather firm mattress and was very comfortable. On the ground floor, there was a lounge area with a large, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchenette in the room had all the basic necessities, and if anything was missing, it could be borrowed from the main kitchen. The lounge also had a couple of private booths with large screens, which seemed suitable for private video calls, for example. Additionally, there was a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. The gym was modest but had some common equipment. A treadmill would be a nice addition :) Parking is free with prior registration. The cleaning staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
What could be improved: A few minor observations that don’t diminish the overall satisfaction. It would be nice to have a small guide in the room introducing the facilities of the property. The description mentioned organized events, but more detailed information about them would have been appreciated. There was no shower gel in the shower, even though it was mentioned in the description. Keep in mind that the room walls are rather thin, and sound travels through them easily.
Price amazing
Very clean, bright apartment in a great complex, convenient for local transport connections (bus but we also hired a car). Plenty of space for myself and my son. Lots of storage cupboards and places to store luggage/shoes, etc.
What could be improved: The loft bed has a low ceiling that meant stooping each time you got out of bed. I’m 5’8 and still had to do this. The building is a converted ex-factory so there are presumably restrictions on ceiling heights but once I’d realised what I had to do, I took precautions! Would have been nice if there had been another six inches ceiling height - especially as it felt there was plenty of spare height down below. It didn’t stop us enjoying the space.
Modern clean and spacious, good facilities, free parking
What could be improved: Double bed size is on the smaller side for 2 people, would be useful to have an additional duvet for each one to cover themselves
I didn’t have breakfast. I just stayed there for one night. I was so tired. I was looking for a comfortable bed in a quiet place and that was exactly that easy to find using the codes even better if I’d had time out to check out the gym.
What could be improved: Don’t have anything bad to say about it. I probably stay there again.
Perfect place. Clean, modern, stylish apartment, comfy bed, huge windows looking on to trees, kitchen in apartment, free to use wash/dry machines, never heard neighbours once. Nice gym. 15km trek route through forest a 5 minute walk away. Tallin town centre is one 25 minute bus away, costs 2euro with your own debit card.
What could be improved: The painting in room 202 I believe. I took it off the wall when in room.
Clean and big rooms. Playroom a massive plus
What could be improved: Nothing
Everything was perfect. Nice new design, clean and tidy room. Worth to stay. 👌
