Tallinn City Harbour Apartments Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Tallinn City Harbour Apartments? I expected just another generic apartment rental, but this place actually feels like someone put real thought into what travelers actually need. The location is honestly perfect – you’re close enough to hear the gentle sounds from the harbor (which is surprisingly soothing, not annoying like city traffic), but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds stumbling past your windows at all hours.
The apartments themselves are what I’d call “smart comfortable” – nothing flashy, but everything works exactly like it should. The kitchens are properly equipped, I mean actually equipped, not just a mini-fridge and a prayer. Found myself cooking breakfast most mornings because, well, the local markets are right there and honestly pretty fantastic. The wifi is solid (worked great for video calls back home), and the heating system is one of those efficient European setups that keeps everything perfectly warm without that dry hotel air feeling. What really impressed me was the little touches – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, plenty of outlets near the bed, and bathroom fixtures that don’t feel like they were installed by the lowest bidder.
Here’s the thing about staying here versus the hotels in Old Town – you get to live like locals do for a bit. There’s a grocery store about a three-minute walk away, and the tram connections are ridiculously easy once you figure them out (took me exactly one day). The harbor area has this really nice evening energy, especially during summer when people are out walking and the restaurants have their terraces going. Parking was way less stressful than I anticipated, though I’d still recommend checking with them about spots if you’re driving. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails all the fundamentals so well that you find yourself comparing every other apartment rental to it afterwards. Perfect for couples who want space to spread out, or honestly anyone who’s staying more than just a quick weekend and wants to actually live somewhere instead of just sleeping somewhere.
Exploring Tallinn offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Estonia’s digital heart, from its UNESCO-listed medieval old town to its innovative startup ecosystem and stunning Baltic coastline.

The apartment was new and really equiped with everything we needed for the stay. The location was great – just 15 mins from Old Town by walk, there is 5 mins away a supermarket and right next to the place there is good street food joint.
Great location near the harbor, about .7 mile to the old town with good eateries on the way. – Gary from United States of America (10/10)
The apartment is very well designed to maximize space with style and very clean. There is a full compliment of kitchen appliances. A washer is included that we did not use. The bathroom was well laid out and very clean. The building and the double door entrance to our apartment seemed very secure.
