When I first walked up to the building, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment-style place, but the moment I got inside, it felt like someone had thought through every single detail a traveler actually cares about.
The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – and I say surprisingly because, well, European city accommodations can sometimes feel like glorified closets. But these actually give you room to breathe and spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase the entire time. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. I ended up grabbing fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market and actually enjoyed having breakfast at the little dining table instead of rushing off to find somewhere overpriced. The whole setup makes you feel less like a tourist passing through and more like you’re getting a genuine taste of what it’s like to live in Tallinn’s city center.
What really sets this place apart though is how it connects you to the real rhythm of the city. You’re right there where locals actually hang out – Freedom Square hosts everything from outdoor concerts to winter markets, and you can literally watch it all unfold from your window. The Old Town’s medieval charm is just a pleasant five-minute walk away, but you’re not stuck in the middle of all that tourist chaos when you want to unwind. I loved being able to duck into actual neighborhood spots for dinner instead of the obvious tourist traps. The tram lines are right there too, so getting to places like Kadriorg Park or even out to the seaside doesn’t require any complicated planning. Honestly, with a 9.2 rating, you’d expect something special, and this place delivers without feeling stuffy or trying too hard. It’s just really well-done hospitality in a spot that makes exploring Tallinn feel effortless.

Exceptional Tallin City apartments were very nice, recently renovated, and located perfectly near old town.
The apartment itself was incredibly clean and large. As a family of four we fit very comfortably. The location was within a five minute walk to Old Town and one minute walk to a grocery store and parking garage.
I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Tallin and wanting easy access to all of the fun locations nearby.

Had a great time! All good, fantastic place to hang out with old friends. Good bed, coffee and tea nice surprise. Rimi and breakfast place just around the corner.

It’s great choice for family stay , very comfortable Large apartment, everything you need you can find inside , like washing machine, iron , dishwasher, oven , microwave, fridge freezer, even shampoo and shower gel were provided. Also dishwasher tablets was there .
Very comfortable, convenient, clean, and easy. The location was really nice. We were on the top floor so it was a lovely view. The check in process was super easy as long as you can navigate a smart phone. The apartment itself was really clean, and very spacious. The windows were a bit funky, but not a big deal. Just hard to prop them open without them getting slammed shut by wind. Also, if you have a car, there was 10euro/24 hrs. parking on Tatari street which is really decent parking for downtown Tallinn. Overall, it felt like the value for the money was very good. We will continue to stay with Tallinn City Apartments because all the apartments we have stayed in from them (several now) have always been some of the best apartments we've stayed in!
Great experience The bed for the baby was delivered without asking. While the self-checkins sometimes tend to be scary, everything went well eventually.
