I mean, you’re literally staying within the UNESCO World Heritage walls here, which sounds fancy but actually just means you can stumble out your door and be at Toompea Castle in about three minutes. The rooms are where this place really shines though – they’ve managed to blend 14th-century architecture with contemporary luxury in a way that doesn’t feel forced or theme-park-ish. My room had these massive wooden beams overhead and a bathroom that was honestly better appointed than most spas I’ve been to. The beds are ridiculously comfortable too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with jet lag or after a long day wandering those medieval streets (your feet will thank you).

What really sets this hotel apart is how the staff actually knows the city – not just the tourist spots, but where locals go for the best black bread, which galleries are worth your time, and how to avoid the cruise ship crowds that flood Town Hall Square around midday. The restaurant is excellent, by the way, though it can get pretty busy during summer evenings when everyone wants to eat on that gorgeous terrace. The whole place has this 9.4 rating for good reason – it’s one of those hotels where small details matter, like how they remember your coffee preference after the first morning, or how the concierge somehow always has great recommendations that feel personalized rather than copied from a script. Sure, you’re paying for the privilege of staying in a historic building right in the heart of everything, but when you can walk to Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in five minutes and still come back to heated bathroom floors and Egyptian cotton sheets, it feels worth it. Plus, there’s something magical about having your morning coffee while looking out at red-tiled rooftops and church spires that have barely changed in centuries.

  The staff was very helpful. Greeted us properly with a cold drink and a comfy seat for registration. They answered all our questions,provided maps etc.
  The room,really the entire facility was very pretty and right in OLD Town . We were able to drive up to the front door unload our luggage and park a few blocks away(fee). The staff brought our luggage to the room while we were parking. Breakfast buffett with a hot option was very delightful.
