The tram connections are solid too (though don’t expect anyone to mention that the nearest stop involves a small hill walk). What I really appreciated was being close enough to the action but far enough that you’re not hearing drunk bachelor parties stumbling down cobblestones at 2 AM like you would in the Old Town.

The apartments themselves feel genuinely Scandinavian – clean lines, lots of light, that whole hygge thing without being too precious about it. The kitchens are actually functional, not just decorative (I made proper breakfasts, not sad instant coffee situations), and the beds are seriously comfortable. I’m usually a light sleeper, but the sound insulation here is impressive – you get city energy without city noise. Check-in was smooth, though they’re pretty strict about timing, so don’t expect early access if you’re flying in on a morning arrival. The staff knows their stuff about the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward this little Estonian bakery that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, those cinnamon pastries became my daily ritual. The 9.2 rating makes complete sense when you experience how thoughtfully everything’s put together. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, just really well-executed apartment living in one of Tallinn’s most livable neighborhoods.

Hotel in Tallinn booking should be done early, especially during White Nights season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and technology events.
