Scandian Apartments – City Centre Tallinn Overview
You know what really struck me about Scandian Apartments – City Centre Tallinn? The moment I walked in, it felt more like stepping into a well-appointed friend’s place than another sterile hotel lobby. I mean, sure, it’s got that sleek Nordic design thing going on, but there’s something warm about it too – maybe it’s the way the natural light floods through those huge windows, or how the reception staff actually remembered my name after day one.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to really experience Tallinn rather than just tick it off a list. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Raekoja plats (that’s Town Hall Square for the uninitiated), but here’s the thing – you’re tucked away just enough that you don’t get the constant rumble of tour groups at 7 AM. I actually loved starting my mornings with coffee from that little café around the corner on Müürivahe street before the old town properly woke up. The apartments themselves are spacious in that distinctly Scandinavian way where everything has its place and nothing feels cluttered. Full kitchens too, which was a godsend because honestly, eating out every meal in Tallinn’s old town can get pricey fast.
What really sold me though was the attention to detail that you only notice after a day or two. The beds are properly comfortable – not that weird European firm-as-a-rock thing some places do. The WiFi actually works everywhere (I’m looking at you, half the hotels I’ve stayed at). And the soundproofing is excellent, which matters more than you’d think when you’re this central. I could barely hear the street noise, even with my window cracked open for that crisp Baltic air. The staff gave me genuinely useful local tips too – like which tram to take to reach Kadriorg Palace without the tourist markup, and where to find the best black bread that locals actually eat. Small things, but they add up. The only minor gripe I had was that the elevator can be a bit slow during busy periods, but that’s really reaching for something to complain about. With a 9.4 rating, this place has clearly figured out what travelers actually want rather than what hotels think they want.
Tallinn hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Estonia’s tech capital, known for its perfectly preserved medieval architecture and innovative digital society.

Spacious apartment for a big party. Great terrace with the inner yard view. Perfect for traveling with kids. You can send them to the playgound and watch after them from the balcony. Parking is also perfect. We parked our SUV with the box on the roof without any issue.
