You know what caught me off guard about Sääse 3 Apartment? That 9.8 rating actually makes sense once you step inside. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of 3-star places that felt like they were trying too hard, but this one just gets the basics incredibly right.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home – not in that sterile “home away from home” way hotels always claim, but genuinely lived-in and comfortable. The kitchen actually has proper knives (thank god), and there’s this little coffee setup that honestly made better espresso than most hotel lobbies I’ve been to. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re not stuck out in the middle of nowhere. The windows are surprisingly good at keeping street noise out, which is something you don’t think about until you’re trying to sleep at 2 AM and there’s no traffic sounds filtering through.

Storage space is actually generous – I could unpack everything without playing Tetris with my suitcase, and the bathroom has enough counter space that you’re not knocking toiletries into the sink every five minutes. The shower pressure was solid too, though it takes about thirty seconds to get properly hot (just run it while you’re brushing your teeth). One thing that stood out was how clean everything felt – not that harsh chemical clean smell some places have, but genuinely fresh. The bed situation is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that weird hotel back ache, and the pillows aren’t those awful flat pancake things you usually get stuck with. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no complicated key card systems or confusing elevator access codes to remember. It’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and don’t spend your first hour figuring out how everything works. Honestly, for a 3-star spot, it punches way above its weight class in terms of making you feel settled rather than just housed for the night.
