First Impressions
Walking up to Kopli Apartment, you’ll notice it sits in one of those quietly residential areas that feels authentically Estonian — no tourist crowds, just locals going about their day. The building itself is unassuming, which honestly works in its favor since you’re getting a genuine slice of Tallinn life rather than some sanitized hotel experience. What immediately caught my attention was how the neighborhood has this lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re actually staying somewhere real, not just passing through.
Location & Neighborhood
The Põhja-Tallinn district is one of those areas that’s close enough to everything but far enough away to feel peaceful. You’re about a 15-minute tram ride from Old Town, which means you can easily explore the medieval streets and tourist spots, then retreat back to this quieter corner when you need a break. The location rating of 8.4 from recent guests makes total sense — couples especially seem to love it here, probably because there’s something romantic about discovering a neighborhood that feels off the beaten path. Plus, having free parking on-site is actually a huge deal in Tallinn, where finding a spot in the city center can be a real headache.
The Apartment Experience
This three-star setup gives you way more space than you’d get in a traditional hotel room, and I mean that in the best possible way. The apartment feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile accommodation — there’s a proper kitchen where you can make coffee the way you like it, and enough room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The furnishings are simple but comfortable, nothing fancy, but everything you need is there. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a few days and actually relax instead of feeling like you’re camping out.
Practical Perks
Having your own kitchen turns out to be more valuable than you might expect, especially when you discover the local grocery stores and markets nearby. You can grab fresh bread and Estonian dairy products (which are honestly incredible) and have a proper breakfast without paying hotel prices. The free parking situation is worth mentioning again because it’s such a relief not to worry about where to leave your car or how much it’s going to cost. The whole setup just removes those little daily stresses that can add up when you’re traveling.
Why Guests Love It
The 7.4 rating reflects exactly what this place is — solid, reliable, and genuinely useful for travelers who want to experience Tallinn like locals rather than tourists. Couples seem particularly drawn to the authentic neighborhood vibe and the space to actually spend time together without being cramped in a tiny hotel room. You’re not getting high-end amenities or concierge service, but you are getting something that feels real and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place that works especially well if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two, since you can actually settle in and use Tallinn as a base for exploring the broader region.
Hotel in Tallinn booking should be done early, especially during White Nights season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and technology events.

What Our Guests Say
Wonderful Nice location, quiet and comfortable. Everything necessary was in the apartment. Very good price.
Ok apartment Its not far from the center
For a budget option it’s ok The location is not bad it’s close to tram stop and some supermarkets . Inexpensive stay
Good price The price is very good and the Kopli area is beautiful
Uncomfortable but affordable Cheap. Tram stop right in front of the house takes you quickly into the city. Supermarket across the street.
Good Quiet.
Nice apartment. Very uncomfortable/hard bed/mattress & only 1 duvet for 2 persons to share. Nice apartment, which smells good. Animalfriendly.
Good location, bad experience Good location, good check-in and check-out
Possibly a scam, beware Hard to review because although the apartment we ended up in was OK, it was not the one we booked. The night before our arrival we were informed that due to 'overbooking' we had to stay in a different place, in a location further from the city, with fewer amenties.
Very Poor Good access to town.
