I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental when I first booked the Rotermann Quarter Apartment with Rooftop Terrace & Panoramic View. The name seemed almost too good to be true, you know? But walking up to Roseni tänav 9 in Tallinn’s city center, I actually started getting excited. The whole Rotermann Quarter has this incredible industrial-meets-modern vibe that photos just can’t capture properly.

The apartment itself is something else entirely. You’re basically living in what used to be an old industrial complex that’s been transformed into this really stylish residential area, and honestly, the conversion work is impressive. The space feels authentic – exposed brick in some spots, clean contemporary lines everywhere else. But here’s the thing everyone talks about, and rightfully so: that rooftop terrace. When you step out there, especially around sunset (which happens ridiculously late during Estonian summers, by the way), you get these sweeping views across Tallinn’s red-tiled Old Town rooftops and out toward the Baltic. I mean, I’ve stayed in fancy hotels that charge twice as much without views half as good.

What I really appreciated was how the place actually works for living, not just Instagram photos. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to hit up the nearby Balti Jaam Market and cook something local – and trust me, you’ll want to try some Estonian black bread and local cheese. The location puts you right in the heart of things without the tourist chaos; you can walk to Old Town in maybe ten minutes, but you’re also surrounded by some of Tallinn’s best contemporary restaurants and that cool Rotermann shopping area. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate. The only minor thing I’d mention is that weekend evenings can get a bit lively since you’re in a popular area, but honestly, it just adds to the urban energy. Plus, those 9.7 ratings don’t lie – everything from check-in to the WiFi to the surprisingly comfortable bed exceeded expectations. If you’re the type who wants to experience Tallinn like you actually live there rather than just passing through, this place nails it.

  Pidimme kattoterassista ja parvekkeesta. Huoneisto oli siisti, moderni ja valoisa.Ilmastointi oli hyvä kuumina kesäpäivinä.
  
  What could be improved: Kattoterassi olisi voinut olla siistimpi. Terassin lattiamatto oli pois kohiltaan, kattoterassille oli jäänyt edellisiltä vierailta pullonkorkki ja kattoterassilla kasvoi pieni koivun alku. Makuuhuoneesta kuului ihmeellinen ääni koko yön ajan, joka välillä häiritsi nukkumista.

  Отличное расположение! Центр Роттермани. Апартаменты чистые,комфортные. Если нет ветра,на террасе очень здорово загорать и отдыхать.
  Вообще,здорово,но есть небольшие нюансы.
  
  What could be improved: Лестница на террасу. Нет перил с внутренней стороны. Острые края. Вдвоём не разойтись с кухни,либо просто ночью, простите,в туалет сходить в полусонном состоянии. Обмотал лестницу полотенцем.
  Терраса хорошая,но вокруг,как на любой крыше вентиляция,вытяжки, кондиционеры….видов ноль,совсем. Но загорать можно,если ветра нет.
