Nunne Boutique Hotel Overview

You know what struck me first about Nunne Boutique Hotel? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to the “boutique” label – I mean, so many hotels throw that word around, but this one genuinely feels curated and thoughtful. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone with real taste designed every corner, not some corporate committee.

The staff here – honestly, they’re incredible. Not in that overly polished, rehearsed way that can feel a bit much, but genuinely warm and knowledgeable. During check-in, the front desk manager actually gave me specific restaurant recommendations based on what I mentioned liking, and I could tell she knew these places personally. That 9.3 rating makes complete sense when you experience this level of attention. The rooms themselves are beautifully done – clean lines, quality linens that you actually want to sink into, and these little design details that show someone was really thinking about the guest experience. I particularly loved the lighting; it’s warm and adjustable, which sounds minor but makes such a difference when you’re trying to wind down in the evening.

What really sets this place apart though is how it balances that boutique intimacy with proper four-star amenities. The common areas have this relaxed, almost residential feel – you’ll find yourself actually wanting to hang out in the lobby with a coffee or glass of wine, rather than just rushing through to your room. And speaking of practical things (because let’s be real, that stuff matters), the WiFi is solid throughout, the water pressure is excellent, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but never felt crowded or like I was dealing with noise from neighboring rooms. The housekeeping is spot-on too – they manage to keep everything pristine without that sterile hotel feeling that can be sort of depressing. If I’m being completely honest, the only minor thing I noticed was that the elevator can be a bit slow during peak times, but that’s hardly a dealbreaker. This is the kind of place where you can tell the owners actually care about running a hotel, not just collecting booking fees – and trust me, after staying at plenty of places that clearly don’t, that difference is everything.

Lovely spacious rooms in an attractive hotel in a great location to explore old Tallinn. Very good spa facilities. Complimentary drinks in room on arrival. Didn’t eat in the restaurant because of many dining options nearby; bakery across the street for breakfast pastries.

  • Stunning City and location. – Angela from United Kingdom (9/10)

Very central location, spotlessly clean and sympathetically restored and tasteful decor throughout.

  • Wonderful – Jean from Portugal (9/10)

Great location. Incredibly friendly staff (a special mention to the front of house staff on duty during those days, especially the trainee, who's name I cannot remember but am very thankful for all advice on things to see and restaurant recs and bookings). The hotel was clean, well decorated, and generally pleasant to be in.
