I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Orange Apartments Tower & Free Parking, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds sort of corporate, you know? But walking into this place completely changed my perspective, and now I get why it’s sitting pretty with a 9.5 rating.

The tower itself has this understated elegance that actually works really well. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, which I appreciated after staying at some places that feel like they’re shouting at you with their décor. The apartments – and they really do feel like proper apartments, not cramped hotel rooms – have this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately. I mean, there’s actual counter space in the kitchenette, decent lighting for reading (trust me, this matters more than you think), and windows that open properly. Small things, but they add up quickly when you’re settling in for more than just a night or two.

What really sold me though was how genuinely functional everything felt. The free parking isn’t just some tiny lot squeezed behind the building – there’s actual space, and you’re not playing Tetris with your car every time you come back from dinner. The staff seemed to actually know the area well too, not just the usual tourist trap recommendations. When I mentioned I was looking for decent coffee that wasn’t a chain, the front desk guy immediately knew three spots within walking distance, complete with warnings about which one gets crazy busy around 8 AM (good intel, honestly). The building itself stays pretty quiet even during what I assume are busy periods – thick walls, I think, plus guests who seem to respect that people are actually living here temporarily. I stayed on the seventh floor and barely heard any hallway noise, which was a relief after my last hotel experience where it sounded like people were hosting bowling tournaments at midnight. You know what really impressed me? The little touches that show someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (revolutionary concept, I know), there are enough outlets near the bed, and the shower has proper water pressure. These 4-star places sometimes skimp on the basics while focusing on fancy lobby furniture, but this one seems to have figured out that comfort beats Instagram-worthy décor every single time.
