The staff is genuinely helpful without being hovering – they’ll sort you out with local recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist traps, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I actually ended up chatting with the front desk person about some of the quieter spots in the area, and their suggestions were spot-on. The location works really well too; you’re close enough to the action that you can walk to most places you’d want to go, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. There’s something to be said for being able to grab groceries and cook a simple meal after a long day of exploring – it adds this homey element that makes longer stays feel natural rather than draining.
