The two levels give you this sense of having your own little townhouse right in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town district – and honestly, that’s something you don’t find everywhere in this city where space comes at a premium.

The location is what really sells it for me though. Faehlmanni Street is one of those addresses that locals nod approvingly at when you mention it. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Kadriorg Park (perfect for morning runs, if that’s your thing), and about ten minutes on foot to the medieval Old Town. But here’s the kicker – you’re far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t hear groups of bachelor parties stumbling home at 3 AM. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll see actual Estonians heading to work in the morning, grabbing coffee at the corner café, walking their dogs. There’s a Rimi supermarket practically around the corner, which saved me multiple times when I needed basics or wanted to grab some Estonian dark bread and local cheese for breakfast.

What I appreciated most was how the space actually functions for travelers who plan to do more than just sleep there. The two levels mean you can spread out – I used the upper area as a sort of office space for planning day trips while keeping all my stuff organized downstairs. The 8.2 rating makes sense because while it’s not luxury (the shower pressure could be better, and some of the furniture shows its age), everything works and the overall experience feels authentic rather than sterile. Plus, parking in this part of Tallinn can be a nightmare, but they’ve got that sorted if you’re driving. I stayed during late spring when the city starts buzzing again after winter, and the apartment struck that sweet spot of being centrally located without feeling like you’re in a tourist fishbowl. Honestly, if you want to experience Tallinn like you actually live there for a few days rather than just passing through, this place delivers on that promise.

  Host is good. Was in contact very well.
  
  What could be improved: We booked this villa as it has two bathrooms. But the draining point was blocked and all the water after shower is spread the entire bathroom. We end up using only single bathroom. Hot water not sufficient for 8 people with single bathroom usage. We couldn't able to talk at late night as neighbors will bang the walls. If you are planning for vacation and late night chats, its not the right place.

  Nice big two stairs apartment with plenty of beds for bigger groups. Kitchen was functional. Two bathrooms + one toilet was nice.
  
  What could be improved: Downstairs neighbour is quite sensitive so we had to be quiet at downstairs.
