There’s actually decent coffee (thank god), and the fridge is big enough to store more than just a sad sandwich. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which saved my life when I needed to jump on calls. What really got me though was this little reading nook by the window – perfect spot for morning coffee when you’re not quite ready to face the world yet.

The neighborhood vibe is something else entirely. You’re not stuck in some touristy bubble where everything costs twice as much. I’d wander out in the mornings and there were these great little cafes where locals actually hang out, not just other travelers taking Instagram photos. The noise level surprised me too – I’m usually a light sleeper and bring earplugs everywhere, but the windows do a decent job keeping street sounds manageable. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no endless forms or upselling attempts. Just keys and genuine recommendations about where to grab dinner.

Here’s what I really appreciate – this place has earned that 9.5 rating honestly. It’s not trying to be fancy or impress you with marble lobbies and overpriced minibars. Instead, it nails all the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The shower has proper water pressure (seriously underrated), the bed is comfortable without being so soft you sink into oblivion, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. You know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard, and Kuninga Apartment gets that completely.
