Juhkentali 46, korter 8 Overview
First Impressions
When I first spotted Juhkentali 46, korter 8 on Juhkentali street, I’ll be honest — it took me a moment to realize this was actually my accommodation. This four-star apartment sits right in the heart of Tallinn City Center, and from the outside, it blends seamlessly into the neighborhood’s charming residential vibe. You know what struck me immediately? The fact that I could park right on-site without worrying about those narrow Old Town streets that seem designed for horse carriages, not rental cars.
The Space Itself
Once inside, this place really opens up — it’s got that perfect balance of feeling like a proper home while still maintaining hotel-level cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen is actually functional (not just for show like some places), which means you can grab groceries from the nearby Rimi and cook breakfast instead of hunting for overpriced tourist cafes every morning. I mean, the space feels lived-in but not worn, if that makes sense. The main room has enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped, which honestly matters more than you’d think after a few days of travel.
Location Perks
Here’s where this place really shines — you’re walking distance from both the medieval Old Town and the more modern shopping areas, but you’re not stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. Juhkentali street itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, which I appreciated after long days exploring. The tram stops are close enough that you can easily get around the city, and there’s something refreshing about staying where actual locals live rather than in some sterile hotel district.
Practical Advantages
That free parking I mentioned? It’s actually a bigger deal than you might think in Tallinn’s city center. Most hotels either charge for it or don’t have it at all, so being able to just pull up and park without stress was genuinely nice. The apartment setup also means you’ve got more flexibility with your schedule — no rushing back before the front desk closes, no awkward elevator rides with other guests when you’re carrying takeout back to your room. It’s sort of like having your own little base in the city.
Why Guests Love It
I can see why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways — there’s something intimate about having your own space rather than just another hotel room. You can actually cook dinner together, open a bottle of wine from the local shops, and feel like you’re living in Tallinn rather than just visiting. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense when you consider you’re getting apartment-style freedom with hotel-level reliability. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want — a comfortable, well-located place that just works without any drama.
Hotels in Tallinn line medieval cobbles, creative Telliskivi lofts, and pine-lined Pirita promenades.

All we needed, nothing we didn' t – Timothy from United Kingdom – May 22, 2025 (9/10)
Black, white, grey and wood this study in minimalism is almost artistic in its ambition. Just a couple of pictures and a pot plant detract from the purity.
More helpfully thus appartment had all we needed and nothing we didn't. Clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. The location is out of the centre, but close to a Tram station. Free parking on site.
What could be improved: In contrast to the ascetic interior the surroundings are derelict and decrepit, but it does not matter.Wonderful – Martina from Slovakia – April 19, 2025 (9/10)
good value for the money, nice and clean

Great place to stay, excellent location, comfy beds, reasonable price. No problem with late check-in. Walking distance from bus station, cheap taxi to airport.
What could be improved: Towels need upgrade.Wonderful – Anastasia from Austria – August 28, 2024 (9/10)
Great location, right next to the central bus station, Ideal for those who travel by bus early in the morning. Also clean and spacious.
What could be improved: The walls are very thin, so if you're sensitive to noise, this might be an issue. The apartment also lacked thick curtains, making it very bright and difficult to sleep. I recommend getting thicker curtains for better rest.Good value and convenience – Tatiana from United Kingdom – August 8, 2024 (9/10)
Excellent location – a minute walk to Tallinn bus station if you need to pick up a coach next morning, very close to a decent supermarket. This apartment is a very good value for your money. Very easy check in and check out.
