Hotel Dzingel Overview

You know what struck me first about Hotel Dzingel? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, it’s a solid 3-star spot that punches above its weight – that 8.1 rating isn’t just random numbers, it actually makes sense once you spend a night there.

The whole vibe is refreshingly unpretentious. When I walked in, the lobby had this lived-in comfort that reminded me of a well-run family business rather than some corporate chain. The staff actually seemed to care about getting things right, which honestly is rarer than it should be these days. Check-in was smooth – no unnecessary upselling or weird hidden fees that make you want to roll your eyes. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully laid out, nothing fancy but everything works properly (and believe me, I’ve stayed in “luxury” places where the shower barely functioned).

What really won me over was the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. Good lighting for reading, decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and – this might sound silly – but the pillows were actually comfortable, not those rock-hard things or overstuffed clouds that leave your neck aching. The windows block out street noise pretty well too, which is crucial if you’re a light sleeper like me. I stayed during what seemed like a busier period and still got solid sleep, which says something about the room insulation.

Honestly, Hotel Dzingel feels like it was designed by people who actually travel and know what’s annoying about bad hotels. There’s sufficient space to unpack without living out of a suitcase, the bathroom has good water pressure, and they’ve got that perfect room temperature balance – not too stuffy, not freezing from over-enthusiastic AC. Little things, but they add up to make your stay actually pleasant instead of just tolerable. It’s the kind of place where you’re not constantly thinking about what’s wrong or missing, which lets you focus on why you’re traveling in the first place.

  • Very Good – Adéla from Czech Republic (8/10)

Room has big shower, comfortable beds. There is no view, but that was not important to us.
The breakfast included is great. You can find really everything – coffee, sweet pastries, hot dishes, fruit, vegetables, ham and cheese.

  • Very nice stay, with great breakfast – Jani from Finland (9/10)

This was perfect stay for me. In the morning could drive to my destinations without morning traffic jams in the center. Breakfast was offered already 7 am and had lot of to choose from. The room is very basic, but for the price, it was nothing to complain about.
Had own parking place. And stay there was very peaceful.

  • A good value for money decent stay and a good breakfast – Georgios from Greece (9/10)

A big, decent hotel offering everything a guest may expect. Breakfast (and meals whenever necessary) very good! I extended my stay for a second night and reception kindly offered me the discount price I enjoy through booking.com! Good value for money ratio.

  • Great stay if you're not too picky about small details – Evelyn from Finland (7/10)

Very good hotel in a very peaceful neighborhood. The facilities are basic good and the breakfast as well.
Our room was on 5th floor, room 535 with view towards Männiku tee.
I liked the big garden area where you could sit and enjoy the evening.
    Small Rimi market close by
    Kebab restaurant close by
Pizzeria close by (in the same building as Rimi)
    Free parking behind the hotel.
If you arrive by car, the navigator will navigate you in front of the hotel. You need to pass the hotel on your right, drive 150m and turn right to enter the parking area.
The hotel restaurant offers lunch and dinner as well, and to a very reasonable price!
    Restaurant staff was very friendly

  • Wonderful – Mariusz from Poland (9/10)

    Food was nice 👍
