First Impressions
Walking into Hestia Hotel Seaport Tallinn, you immediately get that feeling of being somewhere that knows what it’s doing. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Tallinn’s city center on Uus-Sadama street, and honestly — the location alone makes it worth considering. The lobby has a clean, modern feel without trying too hard to be fancy, which I actually appreciate. You can tell this place has figured out how to balance comfort with practicality, and there’s something reassuring about that approach.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re genuinely in the thick of things without the chaos that sometimes comes with central locations. The hotel sits in Tallinn’s city center, which means you can walk to most of the main attractions without breaking a sweat. What really surprised me is how couples seem to gravitate toward this spot (they rate the location 9.1, which is pretty impressive). I mean, when you step outside, you’re close enough to the medieval Old Town to explore those cobblestone streets, but you’re also near the port area where there’s a different energy entirely. Plus, having private parking at the hotel is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving — parking in Tallinn’s center can be a real headache otherwise.
The Rooms
The rooms here do exactly what they should do — they’re comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed without any unnecessary frills. You know what I noticed? The attention to practical details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and the bathrooms are well-appointed without being over the top. The windows offer decent views, and depending on which side you’re on, you might catch glimpses of the port activity or the city streets below. It’s the kind of room where you can actually relax after a day of exploring.
Breakfast & Dining
The buffet breakfast here is solid — and I don’t say that lightly because hotel breakfasts can be hit or miss. They’ve got a good spread that covers both international options and some local Estonian touches, which I always appreciate when traveling. The dining area has plenty of space, so you’re not fighting for a table even during busy periods. What struck me is how they manage to keep everything fresh and well-stocked throughout the morning service. It’s the kind of breakfast that actually sets you up properly for a day of sightseeing rather than leaving you hunting for coffee an hour later.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something telling about the fact that this hotel has more repeat guests than most other properties — people clearly keep coming back for a reason. I think it comes down to reliability and that prime location combination. You’re getting genuine value here, especially considering you’re staying in Tallinn’s city center at three-star prices. The 8.1 rating reflects what you actually experience: a well-run hotel that doesn’t overpromise but consistently delivers on what matters most to travelers. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway (those location scores from couples don’t lie) or just want a solid base for exploring Estonia’s capital, Hestia Hotel Seaport Tallinn gets the fundamentals right.

Good Location to harbor if you wanna go to Helsinki
Very Good The location is excellent, just opposite D-tterminal. We arrived with mege star, it's so easy go to dropped bags and start to moving around. There is one shopping mall near by and rimi supermarket you can find anything you need it. To the old town the walking distance is about 20 minutes. Anything else is near by the old town.. breakfast to me is enough good. I paid 64e for 2 person including the breakfast, I'm very happy with the price and the room. The girls works there is friendly and nice. There is no fridge in the room, but to me is ok, we were just one night here, we spent most time in the restaurant, shopping mall and old town, we are now sit in the room rest, so we don't need it.
Very Good The location is ideal for a trip to Finland, right outside there is the port and a bus station, although you can still walk downtown. The breakfast was varied and tasty.
Good
Decent, budget-friendly accommodation in Tallinn seaport⁸ The hotel is conveniently located (next to the seaport terminal D), especially if one comes late in the evening by ferry. The old town is also reachable within cca 20 min walk. There is a mid-sized mall close where one can buy even meals (cold and warm buffet) in a big supermarket.
The hotel is quite and clean, with very good good breakfast of decent choice (the coffee is excellent) served.
Very Good Location - very handy if you have a ferry to catch
