High ceiling loft with its own backyard and a terrace Overview
Honestly, when I first walked into the High ceiling loft with its own backyard and a terrace, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, the name is pretty straightforward, right? But you know what hit me immediately? Those soaring ceilings actually make the whole space feel like you’re in some converted warehouse, but in the best possible way. The light just pours in during the day, and there’s this industrial-chic vibe that somehow manages to feel cozy rather than cold.
What really sold me on this place, though, was stepping out into that backyard. I mean, how often do you get your own outdoor space when you’re traveling? It’s not huge, but it’s private enough that I actually found myself having my morning coffee out there every single day. The terrace upstairs is where the magic happens – especially in the evenings when you can sort of people-watch from above while still having your own little sanctuary. I actually ended up working from up there a couple afternoons because the Wi-Fi was solid and, well, beats any hotel business center I’ve ever seen. The neighborhood itself has this lived-in feel that I really appreciated. You’re not in some tourist bubble here – there are actual locals going about their daily routines, which gives you a much better sense of what the area is really like.
Now, I’ll be honest – this isn’t your typical hotel experience. There’s no front desk person to chat with or concierge to ask about restaurant recommendations (though the check-in process was smooth enough through their app system). But that independence is actually pretty refreshing once you settle in. The space feels more like borrowing a friend’s really cool apartment than staying in a hotel room. I did notice some street noise in the mornings, but nothing that kept me up at night, and honestly, it just added to that authentic urban feel. For a 3-star place, the attention to detail surprised me – good water pressure in the shower, kitchen actually stocked with basics you’d need, and the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. The 8.5 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two here. It’s not trying to be fancy, but it absolutely nails what it is trying to be.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Tallinn at least two months ahead for major events like music festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near historic attractions.

Location was good. All the necessary things was included. And private parking.
What could be improved: Price is too high for that property.Kati from Finland – 21 July 2024 (8/10)
Oikein kiva paikka, voisin varata uudestaan mikäli sängyt vaihtuisi.
What could be improved: Sängyt,ikävä kyllä nukkuminen meillä aikuisilla huonoa. Vuodesohvien alustat mutkalla, lapsia ei onneksi tämä haitannut Yläkerran sänky houkuttelevan näköinen mutta surkein patja missä nukuttu 😔Kristina from Lithuania – 21 April 2024 (9/10)
Car parking next to the house, big terrace (no furniture, however, probably because of the season :)), high ceilings, possibility to stay with your pets (did not use it, but will know in the future).
What could be improved: The sanitary on the first floor was not clean, sofa-beds are not comfortable.Valentins from Latvia – 28 February 2024 (9/10)
The design of the apartment is very stylish and nice. There is everything you need for your stay.

I had an amazing stay at this apartment! The location was perfect. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Tallinn.

What could be improved: I had trouble with the cooker top I’m not used to electric hob. Instructions would be good.
Marianne from Finland – 9 July 2023 (8/10)
In the end the apartment was spacious and cozy. The neighbourhood was quiet and host staff friendly.
What could be improved: Some flaws:
– Kitchenware was somewhat inadequate: no coffee machine, electric water boiler nor toaster. More drinking glasses would have been nice. When starting preparing food we found fish fingers and french fries of the previous guest in the oven (!).
– Toiletseat upstairs had small hints of previous guest´s sitting session 🙁 We also run out of toilet paper very soon…
– laundry detergent was little scarce.
– pillows and quilts had seen their prime days long ago. We ended up buying inflatable pillows…
– small things: there were no TV channels to be seen, only Youtube&Netflix. Terrace was nice, but there was no furniture in it.Nataliia from Latvia – 8 January 2023 (9/10)
Very nice apartment owner and his daughter. The apartment is fully consistent with the photo and price. Will definitely rent again in the summer.
