First Impressions
Walking into Hestia Hotel Susi, you immediately get that feeling of a place that knows what it’s doing without trying too hard. It’s a three-star property that doesn’t pretend to be anything more — and honestly, that’s refreshing. The lobby has this clean, Nordic simplicity that feels distinctly Estonian, and the staff actually seem to remember faces, which explains why so many guests keep coming back. I mean, when a hotel has more repeat visitors than most others in the city, that tells you something right there.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about Peterburi tee — it might not sound glamorous, but this spot in Lasnamae is actually pretty smart for exploring Tallinn. You’re close enough to the Old Town without dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window, and couples especially seem to love this balance (they rate the location 8.4, which is impressive). The area has that authentic Estonian neighborhood feel, with local cafes and shops that tourists rarely discover. Plus, having free private parking here is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving — try finding that in the Old Town for a reasonable price.
The Room Experience
The rooms at Hestia Hotel Susi follow that same no-nonsense approach as the rest of the property. Everything you need is there — comfortable beds, decent-sized bathrooms, and windows that actually open (you’d be surprised how many hotels skip that detail). The decor is modern but not sterile, with touches that feel more Scandinavian than generic hotel chain. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and blackout curtains that actually work.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is where Hestia Hotel Susi really shows its understanding of what travelers want. They do both continental and buffet options, which means you can grab something quick or sit down for a proper meal depending on your day’s plans. The buffet has a good mix of Estonian specialties alongside international options — you know, actual local cheese and bread, not just the standard hotel fare. It’s the kind of breakfast that feels substantial enough to fuel a day of sightseeing without being overly fancy or rushed.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to this place is pretty simple — it delivers exactly what it promises without any surprises or disappointments. The combination of that highly-rated location, reliable service, and the fact that you can park your car without stress makes it particularly appealing for couples exploring Tallinn at their own pace. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in the city, but it nails the fundamentals so well that you end up having a better experience than at places that cost twice as much. Sometimes the best travel discoveries are the ones that just work seamlessly in the background while you focus on enjoying the city.
Hotels near me in Tallinn offer convenient access to the historic center, where guests can easily walk to Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and the famous Town Hall Square.

Good economy hotel for a short-stay visit to Tallinn Whilst the hotel is situated a few miles outside the old city and city centre, there are very good public transport connections near the hotel. Also, the hotel is in a quiet location which will suit some people.
