Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Family Apartment, I was expecting something pretty basic. You know how these generic-sounding places can go either way. But walking up to this 4-star spot, I could immediately tell someone actually cares about the details here. The entrance has that clean, modern feel without being sterile, and there’s this subtle attention to lighting that makes everything feel warm right from the start.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling like a proper hotel and actually living somewhere. The apartment-style setup means you’re not cramped into a tiny room with nowhere to spread out – there’s actual space to breathe, a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge and sad coffee maker), and honestly, the soundproofing is better than most traditional hotels I’ve stayed in. I mean, families can be loud, but you’d never know there were kids running around in the unit next door. The furnishings feel substantial too, not that flimsy stuff you’re afraid to actually use. I actually found myself cooking breakfast a couple mornings instead of hunting for cafés, which says something about how comfortable the whole setup feels.

The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s those little things that add up – the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (even in the bathroom, if that’s your thing), the air conditioning responds quickly without sounding like a jet engine, and the housekeeping team has this knack for refreshing everything without making it feel like strangers rummaged through your stuff. Check-in was refreshingly smooth too, none of that awkward hovering around the front desk while they hunt for your reservation. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, which honestly isn’t always a given even at nicer places. I think what sealed it for me was realizing I stopped thinking about hotel logistics and just started enjoying being there – that’s pretty rare, and it’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually relax on a trip.

  Host was incredible and gave us so much local information and made it so easy for us to get settled. The place was perfect with everything you need and incredibly comfortable. Access to the apartment is all done by codes so it’s super convenient when you have people who are all wanting to be back at different times. Location was great. Only 20 min walk to old town or short and very cheap uber if preferred. Overall a great stay!

  So homely, everyone felt right at home. Big and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big family dinner. Host is amazing.

  We traveled as a group of 5 friends, each of us with our own travel experiences, but for each of us these apartments were probably the best of our travels.
  It is amazingly thought out down to the details – you don't get the feeling of temporary accommodation here, it is so cozy and comfortable that it feels like you have lived here forever. These apartments have everything from the expected items to the cute details that show that the owners have thought of everything – you can even find sleep masks or a cocktail shaker.
  Speaking of the owners – the host, Hanne, was brilliant in communication, responsive and detailed in instructions – making it easy to check in and out of the apartment even without a face-to-face meeting.
  Clean, comfortable, cozy, stylish, quite, brilliant location, parking available, very functional kitchen. Absolutely brilliant place for a family or group of friends vacation, a place you want to come back to.

  The host is really nice and considerate. Hanne went right out of her way to ensure that we get proper instructions to her property, and we have everything we need in the house. She sent us messages on things to do, places to eat and even recommends that we use Bolt which is the cheapest and most convenient way to get from ferry terminal to the property.
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing we didn't like about the apartment. Just that it is around 15 mins walk to the old town.

  Very cozy, stylish and clean apartment close to the city center. Perfect communication with the owner. We appreciated the small gifts (bottle of wine and local beers), which awaited us in the fridge.

  Family Apartment was very clean and cozy! We stayed there as a group of six adults and we all had large beds of our own. Apartment was very well equipped (towels, beds were made, kitchen stuff etc..)
  Host was very kind and send us recommendations and instructions before our stay! Also there was a nice welcoming gift waiting for us which was a lovely suprise! ☺️😍
  Nothing to complain about in this place, thank you! ☺️
