Dream Stay – Historical 3-Bedroom Apartment with Sauna & Fireplace Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Dream Stay – Historical 3-Bedroom Apartment with Sauna & Fireplace, I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true. You know how these rental descriptions can be, right? But this place actually delivers on what it promises, and then some. The moment you walk through the door, you can feel the weight of history in these walls – I’m talking genuine character, not some manufactured vintage vibe. The wooden floors creak just slightly underfoot (in that charming way, not the annoying way), and there’s this particular smell of old timber mixed with whatever wood they use in the sauna that just makes the whole place feel… substantial, I guess.
The sauna situation is honestly what sold me on this spot. After spending days wandering around exploring, there’s nothing quite like disappearing into your own private sauna for twenty minutes. It’s tucked away nicely so you won’t disturb anyone else in your group – actually a thoughtful design choice since these old buildings can carry sound in weird ways. And that fireplace? Well, if you’re visiting during the colder months, it becomes the natural gathering spot. I found myself lingering there way longer than planned, just watching the flames and realizing I hadn’t properly relaxed in months. The three bedrooms are genuinely spacious too – not like those places where they call a closet with a Murphy bed a “cozy sleeping nook.” Each room has its own personality, probably because of how these historical buildings were originally laid out.
What really impressed me was how well they’ve managed to preserve the historical elements while making everything actually functional for modern travelers. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook (and honestly, sometimes it’s nice to grab some local ingredients and just stay in), but it doesn’t feel like they just shoved contemporary appliances into a period space without thinking about it. The whole setup works for different travel styles too – whether you’re here with family, a group of friends, or even if you just want to spread out and have some proper space to yourself. At a 9.0 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why. It’s one of those places that manages to feel both special and comfortable, which is harder to pull off than you might think. You’re not constantly worried about breaking something precious, but you’re also not staying in some generic box that could be anywhere.
To book a hotel in Tallinn during major Baltic festivals, travelers need early planning as this digital capital draws visitors eager to experience its UNESCO World Heritage old town and cutting-edge technology scene.

The property was beautiful and perfectly located. It had everything we needed for our stay and was warm, clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only negative was the lack of proper curtains in the bedrooms for reasons of privacy and for those sensitive to light. The half curtain let in so much light from the street and early morning it was a challenge to sleep in the front bedroom, also as the rear rooms were overlooked my friends felt uneasy about privacy. But overall a fabulous place and a wonderful stay we would highly recommend – Thank you

Erinomainen sijainti, vanhan kaupungin nähtävyyksien äärellä. Tilava huoneisto, avarat yhteiset tilat isommalle perheelle. Kaikki majoittumiseen tarvittavat mukavuudet. Rauhallinen alue Nigulisten kirkon ja puiston vieressä. Huoneisto oli peruskorjattu tyylikkäästi kauniine yksityiskohtineen.
What could be improved: Asunto oli tullessamme aika viileä ja lämpöä saimme nostettua illan edetessä huoneistokohtaisilla pattereilla. Voisiko vuokraaja huolehtia huoneiston lämpötilan nostosta silloin kun asukkaat tulevat illalla eivätkä ehdi saada asuntoa lämpimäksi.Angela from United Kingdom – 6 January 2025 (9/10)
The location is perfect for exploring Tallinn, especially Old Town. The apartment is large and has all the facilities that you need. It was special to stay in a period apartment rather than a generic hotel, and we liked the freedom of our won kitchen facilities. Beds comfy, generally very clean throughout. Great choice for 3 couples.
What could be improved: We were using the lock box to share the spare key, but the hosts removed the box during our stay – not a problem, they offered to put it back – but just a warning if you plan to keep the key there for sharing!Taru from Finland – 9 December 2024 (9/10)
The location was perfect, right in the center of everything. The apartment was the perfect size for 4 adults and 3 children, with enough chaurs and dishes for everyone. Despite being so central, the apartment was very quiet. The decor was also beautiful, right in line with The surrounding old town.

Spacious and central. Everywhere was walkable. Close to Christmas market.

Ulf from Finland – 20 October 2024 (8/10)
Läget, atmosfären i lägenheten, stort.
What could be improved: Fanns endast en krok i badrummet att hänga handdukar…borde finnas en åt varje boende…Eija from Finland – 15 July 2024 (9/10)
Avara asuno.Kauniisti sisisustettu.
What could be improved: Asunto oli kuuma. Ilmanviilennin olisi paikallaan.Li-yang from Taiwan – 2 July 2024 (9/10)
位於舊城區中,地點環境很棒,交通十分方便,房間很大與照片無誤並且浴室還有桑拿,還有室內拖!
What could be improved: 未給洗衣與洗碗膠囊,電視操作困難,不知如何使用Alexey from Latvia – 20 February 2023 (9/10)
Very nice and large apartments in the Old City. Isolated rooms with one common room with fireplace and kitchen. Apartment was pretty clean. But need to take into account that it's old (historical) house and in winter there could be little bit colder. Also need to take into account that house doesn't have elevator.
