What really got me was the attention to detail in the setup. The kitchen actually has everything you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Selver (there’s one just a few minutes’ walk away) and cook something decent. The beds are legitimately comfortable too, which honestly isn’t always a given even with 4-star places. I stayed there during one of those typical Estonian spring weeks where the weather couldn’t make up its mind, and having that extra space to just… exist without feeling cramped made all the difference.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you’re away from the tourist crowds of Old Town but still connected to everything that matters. The bus connections along Tööstuse are actually really solid – you can get to the city center in about 15 minutes, and if you’re into the local scene, you’re walking distance from some of the newer cafes and spots that locals actually frequent. There’s this little bakery called Leibur just down the street that does incredible karask (Estonian barley bread) – the kind of place you’d never find unless you were staying in a neighborhood like this. Parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in central Tallinn either, which if you’re driving, you’ll appreciate more than you might expect.

What strikes me most is how the place manages to feel both practical and welcoming. The 9.6 rating makes total sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be fancy for the sake of it, but everything just… works. The wifi is solid (I was working remotely part of the time), the shower has proper water pressure, and the whole place stays quiet even though you’re on a fairly busy street. Check-in was straightforward too, none of that awkward key-hunting or confusing building navigation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. If you’re the type who wants to experience Tallinn more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through, this is exactly the kind of place that makes that possible.

  Schöne, saubere und komfortable Wohnung ganz in Stadtnähe mit guter Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hell und gemütlich. Auch für die Kinder gibt es schöne Spielsachen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Das Angebot vom Vermieter eine Komplettreinigung für 35€ zu buchen fand ich sehr irritierend, da ja die Wohnung ja eh besenrein übergeben werden muss und laut Booking-Richtlinien die Endreinigung im Miet-Preis enthalten sein muss. Da könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass viele Buchende aus Unsicherheit extra Geld bezahlen, was eigentlich nicht sein muss…

  Meille aiheutti hieman haastetta vain yksi avain. Oltaisiin haluttu mennä eri paikkoihin eri porukalla, mutta koska avaimia oli vain yksi, niin ei päästy eri aikaan sisälle.
