First Impressions
Walking into Luxury Suites – Tatari by Rikas Hotels, you immediately get the sense that this place knows what it’s doing. The lobby has this understated elegance — not flashy, but definitely polished in that Nordic way that Estonians do so well. I mean, the building itself sits right on Tatari street, which honestly feels like you’re in the heart of everything without the chaos that usually comes with city center locations. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which tells you something about the kind of service they’re running here.
Location & Getting Around
You know what’s great about this spot in Tallinn? You’re literally a ten-minute walk from Old Town — close enough that you don’t need taxis, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your window. The four-star property sits in what locals call the real city center, where you’ll find actual Estonians going about their daily business. There’s a reason couples rate the location so highly — you can stroll to Kadriorg Park for morning runs, hit the medieval streets for sightseeing, then grab dinner at places where the menus aren’t just in English.
The Suites Experience
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms, and that becomes obvious the moment you step inside. Each apartment feels more like a temporary home than a place you’re just crashing for the night. The kitchen setup actually works — I’m talking full-sized appliances, not those tiny hotel fridges that barely fit a water bottle. You’ll find yourself cooking breakfast here instead of hunting for overpriced hotel food, especially when there’s a great market just a few blocks away on Viru street.
What Sets It Apart
Here’s something interesting — this place has more repeat guests than most hotels in the area, and after staying here, I totally get why. The room layouts are smart, with separate living areas that don’t feel cramped even when you’re traveling with someone else. The building has character too — it’s got that solid, well-maintained feel that you find in properties that have been around long enough to work out all the kinks. Plus, there’s actual parking available, which anyone who’s tried to drive in Tallinn’s city center will appreciate.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the fanciest place in Tallinn, but it’s the kind of hotel that just works really well for what it is. The recent guest ratings speak for themselves — people consistently mention feeling comfortable here, like they can actually relax instead of feeling like they’re camping out in someone else’s space. The Rikas Hotels group clearly knows their stuff when it comes to creating spaces that feel livable rather than just photogenic. When you’re exploring a city like Tallinn — with its mix of medieval charm and modern Estonian culture — having a solid, well-located base like this makes all the difference in how your trip actually feels.

Nice, clean, comfy. Totally worth the money Clean, good location, good value for the money .
What could be improved: The light in the bathroom kept turning off. We had exactly 4 towels for 4 people, no hand towel, no face towel.
Very Good Location is pretty close to the Old Town. Tram station was 5 minutes from the property. Sofa and bed are very comfortable.
What could be improved: The toilet lock was broken so we couldn’t close the door.

What could be improved: Kitchen is equipped only with the very basics, but good enough to prepare some simple meals.
Great apartment for family stay in Tallinn Everything was clean, rooms were spacious, we were provided with bed clothing and towels. Apartment was 3 bus stops away from Old town. There were clear direction from the owner about getting into the apartment and receiving the keys. We had a pleasant stay. The kitchen was well equipped, there was even coffee.
What could be improved: We could not find trash bins
outside the apartment.
Great value apartment but it feel cheap and needs some repairs. Location was great!
What could be improved: The bathroom sink was clogged and the kitchen sink faucet was loose. There was shower curtain or door that separates the shower from the rest of the bathroom.
