Comfort and authentic apartment near Old Town

You know what really struck me about Comfort and authentic apartment near Old Town? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its name – and honestly, that’s rarer than you’d think. I stumbled across this gem during what was supposed to be a quick weekend trip, and ended up extending my stay because, well, it just felt right.
The apartment sits in this perfect sweet spot where you can hear the gentle hum of Old Town life without getting caught in the tourist tornado. I mean, you’re close enough to walk to all the main sights – I’m talking a genuine 10-minute stroll, not that “walking distance” hotels love to stretch into a 25-minute hike. But here’s the thing that really won me over: early mornings are actually peaceful. You get these lovely moments with your coffee (there’s a proper kitchen, by the way) before the day-trippers arrive. The windows face away from the main thoroughfares, so you’re not dealing with that constant street noise that can drive you crazy in city centers.
What makes this place feel authentic isn’t just the decor – though they’ve done a nice job mixing modern comfort with local character. It’s the little details that show someone actually thought about how people live, not just where tourists sleep. The shower has proper water pressure (seriously underrated), there’s enough counter space in the bathroom for your stuff, and the bed is positioned so you’re not getting blasted by morning light if you want to sleep in. I also appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the “local charm” – you know those places that pile on so much regional kitsch it feels like a theme park? This isn’t that. It’s more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed apartment, if your friend had really good taste and knew how to make guests comfortable.
The whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby wondering if you’re in the right place. And honestly, given that 9.2 rating, I was expecting to find some catch, some reason it wasn’t perfect. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the building’s entrance is a bit understated, so don’t expect a grand hotel facade. But that’s actually part of what makes it feel more like a local experience than a tourist bubble. You’re staying where people actually live, in a neighborhood that functions for residents, not just visitors. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though plenty of smart travelers have obviously figured it out already – which explains why booking ahead is probably a good idea.

What Our Guests Say
Lieliska atrašanās vieta. Dzīvoklis vienkārši, bet gaumīgi iekārtots.
Väga ilis korter, vaikses piirkonnas.
What could be improved: Väga raske leida parkimiskoha, ehk mitu ringi sõitsime, et parkida. Vannitoas oli probleem toruga, vesi ei läinud ära.
What could be improved: Der Backofen war ohne Funktion.
Хорошее расположение , спокойно и тихо.
Квартира отличная, с самостоятельное заселение, что очень удобно.
Locatie, in een wip ben je in het Centrum. Locatie nieuw, appartement met tuintje, bij mooi weer heerlijk
What could be improved: Wij hadden expliciet gefilterd op een appartement met garage. Jammer, jammer.
Great location, very quiet neighbourhood. Apartment was cute, nocely decorated and had everything necessary. Kallaranna is a really great area to take a walk, Kungla park is nearby, closest store is Põhja pst Rimi, and a there is a great little Patarei bakery just around the corner. At the end of the street the platform to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Great place for a wonderful stay in the heart of the capital. Would visit again and would recommend.
What could be improved: We are used to a wider bed, so it was a bit tight for us, but that is just a personal preference. The shower was a bit complicated to use but once you figure it out its ok.
Le confort de l’appartement, les équipements, la décoration.
L’environnement paisibles.
What could be improved: Un rideau occultant dans la chambre serait apprécié.
The area is wonderful in the heart of Kalamaja, yet on a narrow and calm street, walking distance from old town and Telliskivi area. Very silent neighbours, relaxing atmosphere in the apartment. Accommodation covers all regular needs, the bed is comfortable and kitchen nicely furnished. There is also a laundry machine and a cozy bath.
What could be improved: The slight downside is a lack of dish washer in the kitchen. The apartment has a fireplace, but no instructions for it's proper usage - our visit was in month of May, so we did not really consider using it either. But in the winter months it might be a cozy addition to the apartment's many charms.
