You know what struck me first about Cofy Rentals? The name doesn’t really do it justice – I was expecting some basic accommodation, but this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away in one of those quiet residential areas where you can actually sleep through the night without street noise, which honestly is harder to find than you’d think in most destinations these days.

The whole setup feels refreshingly straightforward. When I rolled up around 11 PM (delayed flight, you know how it goes), I was dreading some complicated check-in process, but they’ve got this 24/7 system that actually works – no fumbling around with lockboxes or waiting for someone to wake up. And here’s the thing that sold me: free parking right there. I mean, when you’re dealing with rental cars and trying to figure out where to leave them without getting towed or paying through the nose, having a guaranteed spot is… well, it’s one less thing to worry about. The air conditioning was a godsend too – powerful enough to cool things down quickly but not so loud that it keeps you up all night.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve positioned themselves. You’re close enough to the sea that you can actually walk there without it being a whole expedition, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the crowds and the late-night party noise that comes with beachfront places. It’s that sweet spot where you get the convenience without the chaos. The area feels lived-in, if that makes sense – there are local shops nearby, places where you can grab groceries or a quick bite without everything being tourist-priced. I found myself walking to a little bakery in the mornings that I never would have discovered if I’d stayed in some big resort complex. The whole neighborhood has this quiet confidence about it – nothing flashy, just solid and dependable. For a 3-star place, they’re definitely punching above their weight with that 9.0 rating, and after staying there, I can see why. Sometimes you just want a place that handles the basics really well without any fuss, and that’s exactly what this is.

  The property is in a very convenient location, just a minute's drive from the large Rocca al Mare shopping center and the zoo, yet situated on an absolutely quiet street, which is very convenient. The check-in process is contactless and straightforward, which is also a nice touch. The room has everything you need: a fridge, microwave, shower, toilet, stove, and even a coffee machine. It is very cozy, although not very spacious.
  
  What could be improved: The only, but for us, a significant downside was the extremely uncomfortable mattress. It sagged so much that sleeping on it was impossible. In the middle of the night, we had to move to the floor just to get some rest and save our backs. It definitely needs to be replaced.

  The property was in an easily accessible location, and we loved the carefree self-check-in. The apartment was ready for us and had all the necessary equipment for our week-long stay. An extra bonus was the washer-dryer. The owner was very responsive to a problem that occurred during our stay (the hot water boiler stopped working) and resolved it promptly..
  
  What could be improved: Not a negative thing, but just to mention that the apartment was on the second floor, reachable via stairs. In case you have heavy luggage, you will need to carry it up yourself.

  Self check-in was easy, the apartment was modern and very clean, the host had put sheets on the couch for me in advance when I informed them about needing the couch for sleeping. The host also sent us very nicely made instructions for check-in and check-out.
