Amazing apartment right next to the Old Town

You know what struck me first about Amazing apartment right next to the Old Town? It’s literally a two-minute walk to all the cobblestone magic, but somehow you’re tucked away from the tourist chaos that can drive you absolutely crazy in these historic areas. I mean, you get the best of both worlds here – easy access to everything without the 2 AM drunk singing under your window.

The apartment itself has this lived-in authenticity that I honestly prefer over those sterile hotel rooms. The windows are these beautiful old ones that actually open wide (thank god, because who wants to be trapped with recycled air when you’re in a place like this), and you can hear the church bells in the morning – which sounds romantic until you realize they start at 6 AM, but honestly, it grows on you. The kitchen is small but functional, and I appreciated being able to grab fresh bread from the little bakery around the corner instead of paying hotel prices for mediocre breakfast. There’s this wonderful smell of coffee and pastries that drifts up from the street level most mornings.

What really sets this place apart is how the host clearly knows the area inside and out – they left these handwritten notes about which restaurants to hit (skip the touristy ones on the main square, obviously) and where to find parking, which is actually crucial information because driving in the Old Town is sort of a nightmare. The rating of 9.3 makes complete sense to me because while it’s not luxury – I mean, it’s a 3-star place – everything works exactly as it should, and the location is genuinely unbeatable. The shower has proper water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in these old buildings), and the WiFi actually reaches every corner of the apartment. During peak season it can get pretty lively outside, but the old walls are thick enough that it’s never really disruptive. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel like I was living in the city rather than just visiting it.
