You know what caught me off guard about City Heart Apartment with a Sunny Rooftop Terrace? It’s actually way better than I expected for a 3-star place. I mean, that 9.1 rating had me curious, but honestly – I’ve stayed at fancy hotels that felt less welcoming than this spot.

The apartment itself is pretty straightforward, nothing too flashy, but it’s got this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately. The real magic happens when you climb up to that rooftop terrace though. I spent my first morning up there with coffee, just watching the city wake up below, and it hit me why this place gets such rave reviews. The sunlight up there is incredible – it’s one of those spaces where you end up lingering way longer than planned. During my stay, I noticed other guests doing the same thing, sort of gravitating toward the terrace in the evenings with a drink or book. There’s something about having that outdoor space in the middle of the city that just… works, you know?

What I really appreciated was how the owners clearly understand what travelers actually need. The kitchen is small but well-equipped (I made pasta one night and didn’t have to hunt around for a decent pot), and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout – even up on the roof, which honestly surprised me. The neighborhood has this great mix of local cafés and little shops that you’d never find in a guidebook, plus you’re close enough to walk to the main attractions without dealing with tourist trap prices right outside your door. Check-in was refreshingly simple too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby. I did notice some street noise in the evenings, but it’s the kind of city sounds that actually made me feel more connected to the place rather than annoyed. The only minor thing is that the stairs up to the terrace might be a bit much if you’re hauling heavy luggage, but that’s pretty much my only complaint. For the price point and that killer rooftop space, this apartment delivers something a lot of cookie-cutter hotels just can’t match.

  Brilliant location. Trams and buses stop outside. It’s a short walk to the old city. Supermarkets are nearby.
  
  The bed is really comfortable with lots of storage. The kitchen is well equipped.
  
  The balcony is very nice with a view to the old city. It’s on the 7th floor with a lift.
  
  The air conditioning is really good. Irina the host is always quick to respond and very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing really- there are major roadworks on the route for key collection – but that is only temporary.

  Location was great 5 mins walk into town easy to get into the apartment and the host was very quick with questions
  
  What could be improved: The road noise and trams very loud and quite a draft from doors and window area when cold and windy advertised as sound proof rooms which there not as can also hear neighbours but overall didn’t spoil the stay !!

  Close to the apartment you have a shopping center and a lot of restaurants. I absolutely recommend this apartment and I would book it again.
