What really impressed me was how thoughtfully set up everything was – I mean, someone clearly lives in apartments like this and knows what travelers actually need. The kitchen had proper coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones), the shower had decent water pressure, and there were enough outlets near the bed for all my devices. The building itself is older but well-maintained, and my host was super responsive when I had questions about the heating system. I actually ended up extending my stay by two nights because the whole setup just worked for me. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but it delivers on the practical stuff that matters when you’re exploring a city all day and just want a comfortable base to come back to. Plus, having a proper balcony in the city center at this price point? That’s pretty hard to find these days.
