The beds are legitimately comfortable too, not just hotel-marketing comfortable, and the bathrooms have those little touches that show someone was thinking about what guests actually need – like hooks that are positioned where you’d naturally hang things, not just wherever looked aesthetically pleasing to a designer.

What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both polished and genuine. The staff seems to actually know the neighborhood – not just the obvious tourist spots, but the kind of local intel that makes a difference, like which nearby restaurant takes reservations and which ones you should just show up to early. The 4-star rating feels right; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but everything they do, they do really well.
