The whole setup reminded me why I prefer apartments over hotels sometimes; there’s something nice about having your own space and routine, especially if you’re staying more than just a night or two.

What surprised me most was how well-connected this area actually is. I’d read that Mustamäe was “residential” (which usually means boring and far from everything), but the tram connections are honestly better than some central locations I’ve stayed. You can get to the Old Town in about 15 minutes, and there’s this direct line that runs pretty frequently – I never waited more than 10 minutes, even in the evenings. The building itself is quiet, which I appreciated after staying in some places where thin walls made sleep impossible. The neighbors seem to be mostly locals going about their regular lives, so no party atmosphere, but also no sterile hotel silence. Just… normal, if that makes sense. With a 9.4 rating, I expected it to be good, but sometimes those scores can be inflated – this one feels earned. It’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable and practical, and the owner clearly pays attention to details like having proper hangers in the closet and decent water pressure in the shower. For exploring Tallinn while living like a temporary local rather than a tourist, this spot hits the sweet spot.
