What really won me over was the neighborhood itself. Põhja-Tallinn isn’t where most tourists end up, and that’s actually perfect if you want to see how locals live. There’s this great little market just a short walk away where I’d grab fresh bread in the mornings, and the whole area has this authentic Estonian residential feel that you miss when you’re stuck in Old Town with all the tour groups. The tram connections are solid – I could get to the medieval center in about fifteen minutes, but then retreat back to this peaceful spot when I’d had enough of the crowds. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Tallinn’s city center with a rental car will appreciate.

The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need – decent Wi-Fi (worked perfectly for my work calls), blackout curtains that actually block light, and a shower with proper water pressure. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to recover from those long Baltic summer days that stretch until nearly midnight. I did notice some street noise in the early mornings since it’s on a main avenue, but honestly, it wasn’t anything that bothered me after the first night. Plus, there’s something kind of nice about waking up to the sounds of a real neighborhood coming to life rather than the tourist chaos elsewhere.

The whole experience felt refreshingly genuine – like staying at a friend’s place rather than checking into accommodation that’s been focus-grouped to death.   Such clear instructions to find the keys, with notes, photo and video. I found it very easy. Communication was clear from the start. The apartment was a 20 min bus ride from the airport-no 2 to the train station and a 2 minute walk. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and had everything I needed. A complete home from home!

  Das Apartment ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt wirklich Nichts. Die Lage ist sehr gut weil nahe dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr (Busse und Bahnen).
  
  What could be improved: Die Toilettenspülung hakte ein bischen und das Wasser lief immer nach anstelle im Spülkasten zu verbleiben. Ein zweites Drücken der Spültaste behebt jedoch das Problem. Es gibt sonst wirklich keine weiteren Kritikpunkte.
