Apartment 58 Tallinn Overview

You know what really surprised me about Apartment 58 Tallinn? It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a local secret, even though you’re clearly a tourist wandering around with your guidebook. I mean, when something has a 9.6 rating, you start wondering if it’s too good to be true – but honestly, this place delivers in ways that actually matter.

The apartment sits in this perfectly balanced spot where you’re close enough to hear the Old Town’s evening buzz (those cobblestone streets really carry sound), but far enough that you’re not dealing with the late-night bachelor party crowds that seem to love Tallinn’s medieval charm a bit too enthusiastically. What I really appreciated was how the space feels authentically Estonian rather than some generic rental that could be anywhere in Europe. The morning light comes through these generous windows, and you get this genuine sense of waking up in a real neighborhood – I could hear neighbors starting their day, smell coffee brewing from somewhere nearby, that sort of lived-in atmosphere that makes travel feel less like hotel-hopping.

The practical stuff matters too, and this is where the place really shines. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right building. The apartment itself has that rare quality of being actually clean (I’m talking about the corners and behind things, not just the obvious surfaces) while still feeling comfortable enough that you don’t worry about touching anything. Storage space is generous, which honestly saves your sanity when you’re living out of a suitcase. The kitchen setup works for more than just heating up leftovers – I actually ended up cooking a proper meal with ingredients from the Balti Jaam market, something I rarely bother with in most rentals. What struck me most was the attention to details that regular hotels often miss: proper hangers, decent water pressure, curtains that actually block light when you need to sleep off that Baltic jet lag. Being a 3-star place, you might expect some compromises, but the quality here punches well above its category. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself thinking “I could actually live here for a while” rather than just counting down days until checkout. If you’re planning to explore Tallinn properly – and I mean really explore, not just tick off the tourist highlights – this gives you that local base camp feeling that makes all the difference.

Apartments in Tallinn provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Estonian markets and cook with fresh Nordic specialties.

  • Marta from Estonia – 23 February 2025 (10/10)

    Exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautiful

  • Mattias from Estonia – 16 February 2025 (10/10)

The apartment was very easy to access, it felt clean, well maintained and high-tech. They even had a robot vacuum cleaner, which was surprisingly useful! The heating could be controlled very easily for each room separately.
We were blown away by the view – it was exactly like on the pictures! We sat right on the window ledge and enjoyed gazing out. Other than that the apartment had a cozy atmosphere and felt roomy.
It was also nice to have a bathtub and a washing machine in the bathroom. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed with a large smart TV for entertainment.

What could be improved: Would have been nice to have more cooking utensils in the kitchen, a rolling pin for pastries and a pot for making oven stew for example:)

Also, we unfortunately could not find the telescope that is on the picture of the bedroom!

What could be improved: Traffic noise (only with open window)
Would be nice if there are several containers for sorting waste

  • Thomas from Estonia – 22 July 2024 (10/10)

    Very modern and high floor.
