First Impressions
Walking up to Iglupark in Tallinn, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star hotel in this part of the city. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. The building itself has this clean, modern look that doesn’t try too hard — it’s just solid and welcoming in that Nordic way. The staff at check-in were genuinely friendly, not just going through the motions, which immediately set a good tone for my stay.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s the thing about staying in Põhja-Tallinn — you’re actually in one of the most interesting parts of the city, and most tourists completely miss it. The Lennusadama area puts you right near the Estonian Maritime Museum (which is way cooler than it sounds), and you can walk to the Old Town in about 15 minutes. I mean, couples are rating the location 8.9 out of 10 for good reason. There’s this authentic local vibe here that you just don’t get when you’re staying right in the tourist center, plus you’ll find some excellent Estonian restaurants within a few blocks that locals actually frequent.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without any unnecessary frills. The bed was properly firm (thank goodness), and the bathroom had great water pressure, which honestly matters more than fancy marble countertops. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for all my devices, and blackout curtains that actually worked. The heating was spot-on too, which you’ll definitely appreciate during Tallinn’s chilly months.
Practical Perks
One thing that really stood out was how easy everything was here. The parking situation is refreshingly straightforward — no circling blocks looking for a spot or dealing with complicated payment systems. If you’re driving around Estonia (which I’d totally recommend), this makes Iglupark a smart base. The front desk folks were also incredibly helpful with local recommendations, and they actually knew what they were talking about rather than just handing you generic brochures.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the fanciest place in Tallinn, but that’s sort of the point. Iglupark delivers exactly what it promises — a comfortable, well-located place to stay without the pretense or inflated prices of more central hotels. The 9.1 guest rating isn’t an accident; it reflects a property that consistently gets the basics right while offering genuine value. You’re paying for quality sleep, a great location, and hassle-free service, which is honestly what most travelers actually need. Plus, you’ll have extra money left over for exploring Estonia’s incredible food scene and maybe that day trip to Lahemaa National Park you’ve been considering.

What Our Guests Say
Amazingly cozy and well thought out little huts The atmosphere was amazing and the hut was super well thought out - everything had its purpose and nothing was missing. Of course the uniqueness of the huts was what first caught our attention and why we chose to stay there. The showergel and shampoo in the bathroom were like an aroma therapy session in a spa, but a more cozy version, we loved it. And the staff was incredibly friendly, they even gave us a free upgrade.
Exceptional Cute place right on the water.. Very cozy. Peaceful and quiet.. Greeted with great hospitality..
Excellent I love everything
Peaceful city stay The peace and tranquility, waking up overlooking the sea was exceptional. We were blessed with excellent weather and my husband swam twice a day and used the saunas. Close to bars and restaurants but still and quiet at night
Wonderful Everything! Cosy, romantic seaside igloo. That bed was dreamy, the mattress was sublime, slept like a log! Great shower and shower gel. Coffee machine was a game changer!
It's a cool area, nice bars and restaurants, even a club.
Also great to be able to use the morning sauna and swim in the refreshing sea.
Don't mind people's reviews about jellyfish, those are moon jellyfish and they are harmless, not stingers!
Wonderful Very original accommodation, the iglu has a really nice structure and was very clean and well equipped. It was a bit warm inside during summer, but the window ventilation cooled it down really fast. Nice position, city center and ferry port reachable by a cheap uber/bolt ride. Cool area to walk at night.
Nice igloos, but in front of a port The igloo-huts are clean, stylish and comfortable. The overall ambiance is really relaxing
Exceptional So sweet and comfy
Cool stay Our stay was amazing! The igloo is so cool, new, clean, you had everything you needed it. The sauna is free in morning until noon! The staff was very helpful! Beautiful view! About 25min walk from downtown! The igloo idea is fantastic
CozyCottages Lovely and very cozy cottages.

I loved The morning sauna and Swim!
