Viru Stylish Apartment Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Viru Stylish Apartment, I wasn’t expecting much from what I thought would be just another rental in Tallinn’s city center. But this place actually surprised me in all the right ways. Right there on Viru väljak, you’re literally steps from everything that matters in Old Town, and I mean everything. You can hear the medieval church bells from the windows (which is charming during the day, though you might want to know they start early on Sundays), and the cobblestone streets of the UNESCO area are right outside your door.
What really gets me about this apartment is how they’ve managed to feel both stylish and livable – something a lot of these city center places struggle with. The interiors have this clean, Nordic vibe without being cold or sterile, you know? There’s actual personality here, with local art pieces and thoughtful touches that make it clear someone who knows Tallinn put this together. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters when you discover the incredible food market just a few blocks down Viru street – honestly, some of the best local produce I’ve found in the Baltics. The bed situation is solid (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually works, not the disappointing trickle you sometimes get in these converted historic buildings.
Location-wise, you’re in that sweet spot where tourists haven’t completely taken over yet, but you’ve got easy access to everything. The Viru Keskus shopping center is right there if you need anything practical, and I love that you can walk to Kadriorg Park in about fifteen minutes when you want to escape the Old Town crowds. Parking can be tricky around here – street spots are limited and the locals know all the tricks – but there’s a decent garage nearby if you’re driving. The tram connections are excellent though, so honestly, you might not need a car at all. What really sealed it for me was stepping out one evening and realizing I could wander down to the harbor, grab dinner in Town Hall Square, or just sit in one of those little courtyard cafes, all within a five-minute walk. That 9-star rating makes sense when you experience how everything just… works here.

Reviews of Viru Stylish Apartment
Excellent Apartment for a visit to Tallin. – Michael from Austria – June 30, 2025 (10/10)
A very nice and clean apartment, well equipped in a perfect location. We specially liked the nice balcony with view of busy down town even though there was no noise in the evening thanks to the glass protection on the balcony and the double glass windows. The location is perfect – a few minutes to walk into the old town and a few minutes to walk into Rotermann district or the port areas. Parking was also great – direct access from the parking garage to the apartment by elevator – could not have been better. We enjoyed our stay very much !!!
What could be improved: There was nothing we disliked.Good as always, thank you. – Martin from Estonia – June 4, 2025 (9/10)
Good location, excellent view, free parking, easy access from the parking lot.
The best in Tallinn!! – Rafael from Qatar – April 20, 2025 (10/10)
Everything is nice and very clean. Very close to everything, Our stay was Perfect!
Good value, Great location – Anton from Finland – March 3, 2025 (10/10)
Very good location, right on top of a shopping mall, easy to get groceries and morning coffee. I stayed most of the time working from home and it was nice and quiet.
What could be improved: Maybe better pillows and bed setup could be improvedI recommend for short stays if you want to experience Tallinn – Marjan from North Macedonia – October 22, 2024 (10/10)
Everything, specifically the location
What could be improved: Nothing to dislikeExceptional – Grzegorz from Poland – August 8, 2024 (10/10)
Comfortable, high quality apartment.
Very Good – Kjetil from Norway – October 18, 2023 (8/10)
Super location, nearby grocery shops. Good view, easy to get around from there. Tramm and bus-stops just outside. We will try to get back to this place again.
What could be improved: Way too much cigarette-smell coming from neighbour balcony, and by this reason difficult to get fresh air into the appartment.GOOD! – Iribella from United Kingdom – October 4, 2023 (9/10)
Flat was easy to access, straight from parking lot, where we parked our car. Quite spacious for 3 colleagues that are always out. Thank you for living us pack of coffee – very useful when you are in the city for 2 days only.
Good views over city!
What could be improved: Maintenance should be better for otherwise beautiful flat.
Curtains were falling off the rails in the living room.
Wooden deck on stunning balcony – cracked and dirty.Exceptional – Patryk from Poland – September 13, 2023 (10/10)
Excellent location, beautiful view of the city and close to everything. Opposite the house there is a shopping center with a well-stocked, but not expensive grocery store.
Exceptional – Deja from Slovenia – September 3, 2023 (10/10)
The apartment is very big and it is located in the city centre. It looks like it does in the pictures and the balcony is much bigger in real life.
What could be improved: We didn’t receive check in instructions prior to our arrival so we had to contact the host once we got the location. The entrance is also a bit tricky to find.
