You know what really struck me about VIRBI? It’s one of those places that completely defies its three-star rating – I mean, with a 9.3 guest score, there’s clearly something special happening here that the official classification system just doesn’t capture. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up, but sometimes the best travel experiences come from exactly those moments when you’re pleasantly blindsided.

The thing that gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail all the details that actually matter when you’re traveling. Check-in was refreshingly smooth – no standing around while they “find your reservation” or any of that nonsense. The staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is these days. And here’s something I really appreciated: the rooms are quiet. Like, actually quiet. I don’t know if it’s the building construction or just good luck with location, but I could sleep without earplugs, which for me is basically the holy grail of hotel stays.

What really won me over though was this sort of understated attention to comfort that runs through everything. The beds are properly firm (not that squishy hotel bed nightmare), the shower actually has decent water pressure, and – this might sound weird but it matters – the lighting in the room is warm and pleasant, not those harsh fluorescent things that make you look like you’re dying. It’s like someone who actually travels designed this place, you know? Even little things like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. I found myself thinking “finally, someone gets it” more than once during my stay. Honestly, I’ve paid twice as much for supposedly fancier places that didn’t come close to this level of thoughtfulness. Whatever they’re doing here, it’s working – and that 9.3 rating suddenly makes perfect sense.

• Roomy apartment good for a stay with pets – Agata from Poland (7/10)

  Big, roomy apartment. Perfect for a stay with a pet, if your pet is not a very shy one: no carpets on floors, no unnecessary decorations that a pet might break, but a big hole with access under kitchen cabinets and no door to the kitchen. Luckily my cat is not shy and did not try to hide there.
  The kitchen is decently supplied with dishes and other utilities, regular stove, big fridge.
  The shower in the bathroom works very well.
  WiFi works perfectly in the living room, semi decent in the closest bedroom and badly in the kitchen.
  It's on the 5th floor, so not many sounds from the street, but there is a lift, so no problem getting up even with a heavy suitcase.
  The neighbourhood is quiet.
  There is no pet fee.

  Останавливаемся второй раз в квартире, в ней заметны изменения к лучшему – новая ванная комната. А так осталось все как было, такая же большая и удобная квартира, в которой есть все необходимое. Ключи передали, а при выселении нужно было бросить в почтовый ящик. WiFi.

  Хорошая квартира в спальном районе Таллине, в типовом советском доме. Отличный вариант, чтобы переночевать. Ремонт и мебель начала/середины нулевых. Все в хорошем состоянии и в квартире довольно чисто. Без особых изысков. В квартире 1 спальня, 1 гостиная и 1 комната с дополнительным диваном. Парковка во дворе небольшая, нам повезло встать на последнее место. Но если места не найти, недалеко можно найти место на соседних улицах. В квартире есть реально все, что надо. Все кухонные принадлежности, чай / кофе, даже макароны, принадлежности для ванны, утюг, и многое другое. Впервые вижу такое многообразие. Рядом много продуктовых магазинов, как обычно в спальных районах. Ключи получил от хозяина, он встретил меня в оговоренное время. Из квартиры без проблем можно было выселиться позднее обычных 12.00.
