I stumbled onto this place on Kotzebue tänav while exploring the Põhja-Tallinn district, and I’m so glad I did. The building itself has this perfect blend of old Tallinn charm with seriously modern interiors that doesn’t feel forced or trying too hard.

The loft-style setup is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel room. We’re talking high ceilings, exposed elements that give you that authentic warehouse vibe, but then you’ve got all these thoughtful touches – the kind of stuff you’d actually want in your own apartment. The kitchen area isn’t just for show either; I mean, you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to save some euros instead of eating out every night in Tallinn’s Old Town. Speaking of which, you’re close enough to walk there (maybe 15-20 minutes through some really lovely neighborhoods), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all the tourist crowds right outside your window. The Balti jaam area is right nearby too, which is super handy if you’re doing any day trips or need to catch trains.

What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night – and this is coming from someone who’s stayed in way too many city hotels where you hear every conversation in the hallway. The staff actually seem to know the neighborhood well, not just the standard tourist spots everyone recommends. They pointed me toward this little café on Suur-Patarei that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town (like most of Tallinn, honestly), but they’ve got it sorted out – just ask when you check in. The whole experience feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than a hotel, which I think is exactly what they’re going for. If you want that boutique feel without paying boutique prices, and you don’t need someone to carry your bags or turn down your sheets, this spot hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  We stayed with our family of 5 in your loft and had a great stay. There was more privately set up master bedroom upstairs and a separate room downstairs for kids. Everything new and stylish. The check-in was hassle-free and quick, very convenient to access with a code. Since we travelled with a stroller, the accessibility for stroller was great to get in and out. We loved the area. There are a lot of cute cafeterias and a park nearby. It is walking distance to the sea as well as the Old Town. Strategically, it is also very close to port and railway station. We loved that it is quiet and personable as a small town vibe, yet super close to all the action. Thank you.

  Urban Heaven Luxury Lofts have really great location – you are in the center of city and very close to the most hip areas of Tallinn – Kalamaja and Telliskivi Creative center. Everything was perfect!
