Two-level Loft Apartments in Swedish style 7 Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Two-level Loft Apartments in Swedish style 7, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The “7” at the end sort of threw me off, you know? But after spending a few nights there, I actually think it’s one of those hidden gems that doesn’t market itself well but delivers where it counts.
The moment you walk in, you get why they call it Swedish style. There’s this clean, minimalist vibe going on – lots of light wood, white walls, and those simple but somehow perfect furnishings that make everything feel uncluttered. The loft setup is actually pretty clever too. Downstairs you’ve got your living area and kitchen (which, by the way, has everything you need if you’re tired of eating out every meal), and upstairs there’s this cozy sleeping area that feels surprisingly private even though it’s technically just a loft. I mean, the ceilings aren’t super high, so if you’re really tall you might want to watch your head on the stairs, but most people won’t have issues.
What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – honestly, I was expecting more noise since it’s still in the city, but the building seems well-insulated. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two. It’s not luxury by any means (it’s a 3-star place, after all), but everything works properly, the wifi is solid, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with fancy lobby art or whatever. The check-in was smooth enough, though I’d recommend confirming arrival times since it’s not a traditional hotel setup – more like dealing with an apartment rental, which actually gives you more flexibility once you’re settled.
You know what I appreciated most? The kitchen actually has proper cookware and not just the bare minimum you usually get in these places. I ended up making coffee there most mornings instead of hunting for cafes, and there’s decent natural light coming through the windows while you’re puttering around. The whole space feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. Sure, the location might not be right in the tourist center – honestly, I can’t even tell you the exact neighborhood since the address wasn’t super clear when I booked – but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Cheaper, quieter, and you get to see how people actually live instead of just the postcard version of the city. If you’re the type who values having your own space over hotel services, and you don’t mind the slightly apartment-style experience, this place delivers solid value for what you pay.

The location was perfect (for us); Short walk to the main tourist attractions and fair walk to the shops and ferry port to Helsinki. Clean apartment, comfortable bed, not so much on the sofa bed though. Receptionists were accommodating, but still some language barriers in there, but they tried, so props to them.
