I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Tobiase Residences – Luxury Apartments, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The “luxury apartments” part made me wonder if it was one of those sterile corporate housing situations, but honestly? This place surprised me in the best way possible.

What struck me immediately was how it actually feels like you’re staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than a hotel room. The apartments – and I mean proper apartments, not those tiny hotel suites they try to pass off as such – have this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. You know what I mean? Like, the kitchen actually has everything you need to cook a real meal (I’m talking proper knives, decent pans, not just a sad little coffee maker), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without everything looking like a tornado hit. The living areas have that perfect balance where it’s clearly upscale but doesn’t make you afraid to put your feet up on the coffee table.

The service here really sets it apart though – it’s that sweet spot between having help when you need it and being left alone when you don’t. Check-in was smooth (none of that standing around the lobby for twenty minutes business), and the staff seems to actually know the neighborhood. When I asked about good coffee nearby, the front desk person didn’t just point me to the nearest Starbucks – they gave me directions to this little local spot that honestly made some of the best cortados I’ve had. That 9.7 rating makes total sense once you experience how they handle the details. Even little things like housekeeping – they’re thorough but not intrusive, and they actually fold your clothes if you leave them out instead of just moving them to a pile.

The building itself has this modern but warm vibe that photographs well but doesn’t feel cold in person. Large windows in most units (the natural light situation is actually impressive), and the common areas have that relaxed sophistication thing down pat. Parking was straightforward, which honestly is something I always worry about these days. The neighborhood stays pretty quiet in the evenings – not dead quiet, but you’re not dealing with street noise or party crowds stumbling around at 2 AM.

What really won me over is how it manages to feel both polished and comfortable. You can make yourself coffee in your pajamas and feel at home, but you can also bring colleagues by for a drink and not feel embarrassed about where you’re staying. It’s one of those places where you start thinking about your next trip before you’ve even checked out – and for a 4-star property, it honestly punches above its weight class.

  The location is good, it's close to the old town, yet the area was quiet. The apartment was spotless. It's modern and cosy. There is a garage there for parking.

  Excellent location near from Kadriorg park, clean, comfortable, there is everything you need for accommodation, in walking distance to many restaurants and supermarket. Parking.

  The location is good, only approx 1,5 km from the city center, but still far enough to be a peaceful place. The apartment was clean, the beds were good and the kitchen utensils were sufficient. The children liked the playground in the yard, which can be accessed directly from the terrace. Parking was also good, there are a few spaces outside and a garage is also available. A good supermarket is within walking distance from the apartment (only 500 m) where you can buy everything you need.
  
  What could be improved: The garage might be a bit tight if you have a big car, but for us with a regular car it wasn't a problem.

  Modern and very clean with good facilities and comfortable beds. There was limited parking right outside but we didn't have a problem getting a space. We walked into the city centre which was about a mile, and the neighbourhood had a few cafes and restaurants. It was quiet and had a balcony.
  
  What could be improved: One thing that would have been better would be to have a bath mat, and it was slightly awkward getting in and out of the shower as there was a big cupboard in the bathroom.
